@@TRMReacts62812 since you appreciated this song, I would like to recommend two fantastic covers of "kurenai", (for reaction or personal enjoyment, your decision) the first one is from Show Ya, an all female rock/metal band, founded in 1981, the mothership of all we enjoying so much now.they are still active and fully integrated in the scene. their drummer helped nemophila out, when tamu couldn´t play because of childbirth (in the covervideo of "I am the storm"). they organize the yearly "naonQyaon-festival in tokyo with only female musicians. show ya are still super good: SHOW-YA - 紅/KURENAI (X JAPAN cover) @Live『GLAMOROUS SHOW』 second one is from daisuke kurosawa featuring the fantastic tamu and also wakazaemon on bass, a lefty female bassplayer, who plays wiith marty friedman and east of eden. all top studio musicians. and they have an impersonator of the original x japan singer toshi "X JAPAN - 紅 Kurenai (Full Band Cover 2019" sry , that I written so much, but since you love this music so much too, I didn´t want you to miss this.

These were the early days when they started do covers. Mayu didn't know or understand English. Maybe you already. The beautiful Saki is the only one that truly understands and speaks the language pretty well.

Seconded, and it would be great to follow the pattern of seeing the originals first if you can. It can be hard for copyright sometimes. MTH is hit or miss depending on the label / publisher of their records over the years. They've been doing it a long time. Their most recent song released only a few months ago is reactor friendly.

This was, when I first saw it and will always be, my favorite Nemophila cover. Muratatam has played this a few times and you can tell she loves playing this. Once again its all about the respect they have for X-Japan. They also love and are very close friends with the female legends of 80's Japanese rock/metal and that is "SHOW YA". They do an excellent cover of SHOW YA's "FAIRY" with SHOW YA's drummer Micky Mittan playing drums with a very special guest on maternity leave also in the clip. Also be aware that like most Western old style bands the older Japanese bands may block videos randomly.

Somehow I knew you would like this cover! :) And the ladies' faces at the end speak for themselves! They knew they had pulled off something really, really special in that moment. 🔥🤘🏻 Where Tamu gets the energy and ruthlessness from while she's beating the crap out of her beloved drum kit from start to finish with such a sweet smile on her face will always remain a mystery to me. 🤭 When it comes to stamina, you better not bet against her. By the way, before her time with Nemophila, she was also the drummer in an X Japan cover band, so this wasn't her first workout to this song. At this point she had already done quite a few of them. I informed you at the start of your Nemophila journey, there are many fabulous drummers in Japan, but Tamu stole my heart. Talent overload in the young mother with a personality that simply draws you closer. You definitely need to checkout her channel. In fact it wasn’t until a couple of days ago that Nemophila finally gained more subscribers than Tamu. Mayu’s vocals initially reminded me of a mother’s lullaby, then outright fear for her son if he misbehaves. Haraguchi, Hazuki, and Saki are masters of their trade and show it. I knew you would like this one as it’s near the top of their covers for me, personally.

I knew you would love this cover!!!! At the end of the song you see Tamu lay on the drum kit, it is in honor to the drummer of "X-JAPAN"!!!!! He suffered from asthma and sometimes would overexert himself to the point of passing out when the song was done!!!!! Thanks for the reaction!!!!!

Some more worth looking at the originals before the covers would be the Princess Princess and Show-Ya covers. They are two very influential early all female bands. Because Tamu was on maternity the original drummers stepped up. The drummer for Princess Princess is the head of the music school Misa and Akane of Band-Maid attended. Show-Ya put on a festival every year now called Naon No Yaon to highlight all female Japanese bands and singers. Highlights are often the guitar collective things Saki organises and having multiple singers doing melodies. The Loudness and Seikima II are cool because of Saki's Seikima II being her favourite band and getting her into playing guitar and Akira the guitarist for Loudness owning Killer guitars.

The thing about Kurenai is that every take on the song wheter its a cover or even by X Japan themselves its always somehow different, even if you go and look through every single live performance of Kurenai by X Japan they are all different. Yet its the same song

If you like Kurenai, you should react to Babymetal Akatsuki. Watch the Budokan Black Night version. That song is inspired by Kurenai and kind of like tribute for X Japan because Kobametal, the producers and mastermind behind Babymetal was X Japan big fans.
