The emotions and the feelings you have discovering a band like Nemophila is the same as I and many other had when we first heard it. Welcome to the “light side”. Japanese girl’s bands, or female J-Rock/Metal is a slightly obscure thing of utter beauty not bettered by anyone. Nemophila are one of the best, but I couldn’t even pick a favorite anymore - most of them have released songs I love and that blow me away. It’s nemm-oh-fee-lah, no Nemo in there. If you listen to them a bit you’ll hear them say it, just like with Hanabie - Han-ah-bee-eh - they even got a crowd chant going with it just to drive the point home!

You'll be shocked at how versatile this band is! This band will never let you go again. I had the great honor of watching this band develop on KZbin, it was a bullseye from the first moment (I had discovered the drummer Tamu Murata on KZbin two years earlier). This band will be big and famous 100% for sure. The first US tour was already a blast, the audience was thrilled. Be sure to check out their cover songs, they started doing that in the "C" period so as not to burn out their originals, perfect tactic. After Lovebites (Jedi Level) my absolute favorite band. By the way, the musicians are all full professionals (but the Japanese version of professional is something different, they are really fully trained). Friday is the most important day for Nemophila fans, all special releases take place on Fridays. Great reaction

Nemophila is so awesome, I love their traditional heavy thrashmetal sound they have. And Mayu's vocals are incredible. They have played some shows with Hanabie. in Japan. A lot of the western audience would love to see these two groups tour together. dream team. They are very good to their fans they are always live streaming mini shows. they even did one on Halloween morning. "Lovebites" is also pretty wild if you want some top tier Powermetal, and "Broken By the Scream" is another wild band.

Welcome to the kick ass world of Nemophila. They are mostly metal / hard rock a few reg rock songs and occasional poppy song. But mostly metal and shredding your face off. Mayu lead singer has a great voice. She can bounce back and forth between growling and banshee screaming into cleans. Amazing band! Been around over 4 years now with two great albums and many great covers too. You are going to enjoy them a lot. Try Revive live or the music video and Dissension. also Adabana is great song you will dig Im sure.. Also look into Zen Live and RAITEI. All those I mention are just a little of what they can do. So much more too. Saw them in Dallas back in march when they came to the states. They blew the roof off the place.

Nemophila is pure 🔥🔥🔥. Elite musicians. Mayu is one of the most incredible and versatile vocalists you’ll ever hear. They play a wide variety of styles and excel at all of them.I recommend you check out Adabana or Revive next. Japanese metal is the best metal nowadays.

Tell you what, Lovebites is more my style as far as what I write and play on guitar, BUT Nemophila are my fav all-lady band (Sure, I admit I got a bit of a ❤on Hazuki). All of them are incredible musicians and this is the tip of the iceberg. These ladies can do ANY style. Just check out any of their innumerable covers--literally from Journey to Slipknot.
