What a beautiful lock - these indian locks may not be too secure, but one must admit they have style. Also, a very nice pick. Thank you for sharing it.

Beatiful and unusual lock for sure! Quite a fast pick for 4×3 pins. Thanks for vid!

It's actually pretty poorly constructed

Well done. This was an interesting lock; mechanically and aesthetically.

I have 3 or 4 of these locks, their name is Lily Water. The symbol is a religious group pre WW2. Version 1 is more square, version 2 is more rounded off. I still like them. You smashed the picking, well done my friend.🍺👍🤓🇦🇺

A very ornate looking lock, well picked mate, cheers

Would you have to pick it 4 times to get a full open? Nice job by the way.

I wonder whether the keyway is inspired by the Indian spiral of life (which later became appropriated by the Nazi party)? Very nice looking key and lock.

Great question for sure. How's your channel coming along btw?

@@LegalLockPicker all good thanks - working on the next release at the moment which is about how to get your mojo back if you hit a lockpicking slump!

i thought there was a difference between the two! ? the directions the arms bend!??? but i could be wrong !! but then again either way it would not be the first time some one took something good and turned it in to some thing bad!

@@danareed1656 apparently the Sanskrit art presents it will the limbs in both clockwise and counterclockwise orientations. It’s a shame that we see that symbol now as one of darkness when for most of human history it has been something far more beautiful.

And to think I still struggle to pick master lock 3s

Hello. Do you have unnecessary locks for picking them with master keys? If I have something that you do not have, I would send you too.

Great job! I recently got a similar lock. It has 4 sets of pins instead of the three. I am having trouble figuring out how to place a tension tool in it wothout blocking the pins. Got any ideas?
@danareed16563 жыл бұрын
that lock is really cool! vary interesting! i was thinking you would use a curved flag!
@gantry2893 жыл бұрын
Kinda like a twisted cross lock. If you rotated the core to the next spot it shouldn't ruin the lock, you'd just have to keep picking it as the core turns (again like a cross lock). Please let me know if I'm wrong on that...

Don't look to deep into this lock, it's just a lock.

India is the place where this symbol originally came from and it is a part of their culture. It was hijacked and misused for something it didn't stand for.

@@lockloony4291 Very true. I think it is moronic that you can't even say the name of this symbol. If people would talk about it in its original origins, it would educate more people. The symbol, is an ancient religious icon in the cultures of Eurasia. It is used as a symbol of divinity and spirituality in Indian religions, including Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism.
