thanks so much for this tutorial it really helped, but could you do a tutorial on how to import models into the app to print them?
@3DRundown11 күн бұрын
Hi. It's really nice to see a comment on this video. Sadly, I aborted my video schedule on this machine, due to some sketchy treatment by AOSEED. I'll try my best to fit that in.

@ what did aoseed do? did the app break?

I'd like a video on how to do that too if you have the time. The set up was great. Thanks!

Cute but wish it auto bed leveling . Great presentation 😎👍
@3DRundownАй бұрын
Me too, but it's SO small, the Bed Leveling is a walk in the park. It's basically just a quick z-height check. Good got kids to learn about. But sure, a probe would really be the cherry ontop of a pretty well put together little machine

@ ya i guess I’m spoiled haha . Its cool though

Yes, we are certainly not the target audience.

The print head shroud looks cool, as does the X axis and bed.

Agree. I love the design of this thing

As a kid myself and having "pretty advanced printers for me" (I have a p1p and snapmaker original), if I had to restart I would use a (BL) A1 mini because of its small size and ease of use, but that is just my opinion (thank you for the review though).
@3DRundownАй бұрын
A1 Mini would be a great start. This machine would only be useful for the youngest of peeps. It's more like a low-end 3D Printer, HIGH-End Toy. But it does indeed work....

@@3DRundown Ok, thank you.
@PeterAgostiniJdcap26Ай бұрын
@@3DRundownagree gives you the basics but a1 mini more user friendly
@3DRundownАй бұрын
A1 is allot more complex, and capable

@@3DRundown i find the A 1 easier than this no x and y calibration with pesky paper 📝

Do you have a video on how to make a model smaller ? I want to make that same one but mini
@3DRundown28 күн бұрын
I believe I show this in one of my xmaker videos. I'll try to make another

I can't get mine to connect. My wifi is 5 ghz and it will only work on 2.4 ghz wifi. Any tips?

Your router almost definitely has a 2.4 option. Log in and Check

The best thing about these printers (I have the Aoseed X-Maker, the bigger one, not the Joy) is the software (it has both simple geometric and sculpting programs) and the extensive ready-to-print model library. Excellent for kids to get into 3D printing, as a "gateway experience", so to speak 🙂
@3DRundownАй бұрын
ooooh back up!! Did you say the X-MAKER is BIGGER???? I had no idea. I assumed this was just the V2 of the X-MAKER. Now the "Joy" Tag, makes sense.... Also, now I need one!! Yes, I was surprised to see how much software this thing has, and ended up deciding to not even touch on the PC Software. If interest is there, I would love to cover that seperatly, as well as, get into the App, in more detail. My only real gripe, is that the App, pulls models from everywhere.... Makerworld, Printables, etc... and many of them, are meant for multi-color printers, and/or multiple parts. This could complicate the experience for a young user. Otherwise, I was (am) surprised, at how well the app, slices, and works. I've done 5 models so far, and all came out perfect.
