Thank you for the video. 3D printing newbie, and this just happened to me after having the printer for 3 months. I came across this after already clearing the blob, but it is good to see I went about it correctly. One question if you don't mind, I noticed the heater block on your CR 10 se was black while mine is silver. It just makes me wonder if the printer I purchased was refurbished by Creality or if they were manufactured with different parts depending on when and where it was purchased.
@3DRundown4 сағат бұрын
Color is irrelevant, I assume it's chosen based on what's available during manufacture. However, Bambu Lab uses Black to identify Hardened Steal. Not the case here

The glass build plate will crash into the back motor on the Ender 3 V2 when you do step 1. Everyone says "Step 1: tighten the knobs, bring the bed as low as possible" Then people reply with what I said above but they never get any help. Does anybody know how to fix this?
@3DRundown4 сағат бұрын
Do not bring the bed as low as possible. You will warp your hot plate.

Definitely is frustrating, ran into a problem where all of my filaments (Esun pla+ and bambu lab pla basic) were in a state that would always snap. I tried drying it for hours in a filament drier and refilled all my silica gel, kept humidity down to under 10%. And it snapped like crazy in the AMS. I basically ragequit 3d printing for a month or two. Let my filaments just sit there aging in air (not vacuum stored). Tried printing again one day, renewed determination to figure out wtf is going on, humidity up above 25% I started a test print and it printed flawlessly. Then another and another, and it's been solid ever since. Im absolutely dumbfounded. I have no idea why it worked, but it worked, it was the same filament, it had the same setup, just left it 2 months, and it's back to printing flawlessly 😂
@3DRundownКүн бұрын
Filament that's absorbed moisture becomes brittle and snaps. When that happens, It's a nightmare on the AMS. But, it shouldn't be happening all the time. Rage Quitting is a day in the life of 3D Printing. Lol. Welcome back.
@Iguana240Күн бұрын
Great video as always, so have they modified the AMS design since this model? You mentioned this was the OG version. Or were referring to the ‘AMS’ lite for the A1’s?
@3DRundownКүн бұрын
It's had minor adjustments, but, mostly the same. OG due to the AMS Lite, which is also a bizzare-sauce design. But, between the 2, this one, all day.

ive never had such a problematic slicer tbh ive finally managed to load my K1c on to Orca and allready much better prints,straight off the bat I think creality ended up shooting themselves in the foot with thid problematic slicer that simply does whatever it wants since v5.0 saving my ABS and TPU profiles as PLA then making them system files i can not edit,iI ended up with 5 profiles all modiefied to system defaults all only to print pla,but its ABS and TPU which are worlds appart slices

It's really strange that they keep selling the P1S with stainless steel gears. I've just received my P1S yesterday, and ordered in hardened steel gears immediately with my order, only need to replace them. Still would need the hardened steel nozzle. But I think I wouldn't go printing verry exotic materials quickly, and there's a spare one included. At least the switched gears won't suffer much on normall filament like PLA or PETG I guess. Also stupid that the hardened gears are not included in the spare extruder replacement. So you actually need to buy both or just exchange them. I realy don't like the Bambu Lab marketing...
