This is a useful video, because some things like making sure to have a Bowden tube cutter are important. Just ordered one, as well as some spare tubes in case I mess up.

Do we have that on the Bambu x1 carbon. Could you do a video on changing a broken belt on a x1 ? Please. Ty

No, X1C uses self tightening belts, so you unscrew the screws almost completely, move the print head around, and tighten the screws back, but they could break or not work properly, which in that case I recommend calling bambu support.

I came here because the written directions at the QR code were so horrendously bad. I didn't know where to start. They don't give you any sense of orientation or what you're plugging into. I would have had to just trial and error. Thank you for this video!!

My system thinks there's filament in the system even though all the spools have been retracted. I went to the point of turning off the printer, unplugging the CFS, turning it on, and trying to reset it that way, and not it thinks I have spool holder filament in the system that has to be removed before I can use the CFS.

Can you try to heat it, and manually push filament through the hot end? Perhaps something broken off at the runout sensor?
@shirgall
@shirgall Күн бұрын
@@3DRundown All right, heating the nozzle and pushing things through seems to have cleared the confusion for the filament sensor. The CFS vs. Spool Holder issue was misattribution of where that filament was from the firmware guessing where it was from.

So please do forgive me up front! But when I saw that this goes to the 2nd floor, I really NEED to tell you what happened to me. When getting ready to retire, I was buying all the equipment I wanted for my Lab, which is also on the 2nd floor of an older house. I won't go into a list, but with all the lab equipment the total weight was over 2,000 lbs. One would think that's no big deal. But after a few months, I started to notice, as I walked down the stairs, that the dining room ceiling was starting to sink down, right in the middle. I went into panic mode and realized that I have to remove a lot of stuff. As I did, I weighed each thing and kept a spreadsheet. By the time I was done, he total weight removed was about 1,300-1,400 lbs!!! Some of the stuff, like all my spools of filament, I moved into the back room on the 2nd floor, but into the corner where the 2 outer walls were supporting things. So PLEASE PLEASE keep an eye on your lower floor's ceiling, right below that room to make sure it's not slowing bowing down.

@@3DRundown At this point we'll have to agree to disagree 🥺. It looks to me since you are showing melted filament in the extruder and the extruder is above the filament cut tool. That the filament cut tool did not cut the filament and the filament cooled while be pulled back towards the bowden tube. This caused the clog in the extruder. I have a X1C and two A1s and have never had an extruder clog. Just saying.. Gerry
@3DRundown
@3DRundown 9 сағат бұрын
Was the tiniest of clogs, and yes, my P1S clogged in the EXACT spot, then proceeded to self destruct, trashing the entire extruder, runout sensor, and other stuff. Trust me.... Your Bambu, can, and will, eventually, do this. And the K2+ is ENDLESSLY easier to repair the extruder, than your P1 and X1.
