Hector. I quiz my girlfriend on comic book knowledge all the time as well. Ha ha

😊 Hector, I agree with you about bringing in the young with these new shows. I’m an old man. I watched all these shows growing up, but I am very willing to accept the new shows because I know who the target audience eventually is. I feel a lot of shows currently are getting way too much grief because the older generations like me or younger like you guys want just a continuation for them instead of accepting it for everybody.

Hey guys, just wanted to say this Due to work and life and otros pedos, I can't watch all your videos or your lives, but still I know something, Hector, Agustin, Adam, to me you three are the best reactors and commentators out there by un chingo, and as someone who is really passionate about pop culture, comics and movies, I think you are the only ones who are 100% legit and 100% chingones y la pura v*rga So, I might not have the claim of your biggest fan because I'm not always here, but be sure that you are my favorite channels (Czechxicans and Heroes Reforged) and that I really appreciate you guys in a very parasocial but also very inspirational way

Hector, I'm 1 of those X-Men 1st fans, which means I love the X-Men before The Avengers. I'm not resentful of the Anengers coming out 1st, but I feel validated. As a teen I only read X-Men & almost all the X-books in the 90s. I finally feel everyone finally knows what I knew over 30 years ago. Idk what Beau DeMayo did, but I'm almost willing to forgive if he can write the way he wrote this 97' season. F.Y.I. The X-Men would totally wipe the floor with The Avengers. Thanks.

Great video, guys! I’ll watch foX-men movies with y’all on Patreon. What if you just picked your four faves ( X-2, Days of Future Past, Deadpool, Logan) with one hatewatch? (X-3)😂

I'm late to the party as always (Wednesday evenings I'm booked, unfortunately timing, yay for these being viewable afterwards)... Augustin coming out of the gate with one of the best takes I've heard in a while, and I generally tend to love your takes. X-Men '97 really did make the Fox movies look so bad. Hector you do make a good point about being somewhat forgiving of the earlier ones too. Great chat guys. As usual. Thanks.

I wouldn't be surprised if the next saga for the MCU, after Multiverse, is the X-Men. Just a bunch of X-Men shit.

That’s the rumor. After Secret Wars, we’ll get a Mutant Saga similar to the Infinity and Multiverse Sagas

I don't think X-Men need the Avengers but X-Men do need the Marvel universe. What i mean is that being in the MCU means we get the world flushed out so X-Men can pull everything they need. Audiences can have the universe, literally, flushed out so when X-men deal with something like the Shi'ar they're less likely to bat an eye and we can flush out characters from that empire wherever we want without having to clutter up the X-Men movies. Also, i still hold that the contrast between mutants and superheroes who got their powers later in life is actually an important dichotomy for audiences to understand so the fear against mutants make more sense

We could get Avengers: Bloodties which deals with X-men and Avengers over Genosha. There are other stories to involve the Avengers in rather than X-men vs Avengers when it comes to the animated universe. The same goes for them bringing in the FF. As those stories always deals with Franklin Richards and is the lead up to Onslaught.

DOFP and X2 are both top tier, in the top 10 best comic book movies of all time, and I won’t stand for this slander.

😮😮 oh, I just had a really weird thought not knowing anything only suspicion. Could possibly be the issue between beau and Disney steam from dropping possible links to the MCU slightly into X-Men storyline animated, and he didn’t think it served the purpose of the story

😊 hey guys, I would like to recommend a channel to you guys called casually comics. The person running the channel Sasha for me and I just started watching the channel recently seems to be along the same lines as Hector where she really likes comics and reading comics and she has very good text on them, especially in particular storylines. She has a recent one where she is commenting on how the X-Men movies influenced a bleed back to the comics to try to bolster the comics at the time based off how the movies did the franchise. It’s an interesting watch thanks have a good one. Chat later.

Perhaps I missed this in this video or in another video, but if you're craving more good X-Men content I recommend watching "Wolverine and the X-Men".

Do you think that marvel should have did this approach? Marvel should have used disney plus to focus more on the marvel 90s animated universe with making more new series set in that universe. Marvel studios could continue fleshing out the mcu in movies being shown in theatres Then marvel could have two different marvel universe being fleshed out at the same time They could have made all new series set in the 90s marvel animated universe like midnight suns Guardians of galaxy Or individual series of certain heroes (daredevil, cloak and dagger, blade and so on) Avengers

It's been fun to watch people react to this show but I just, could never get into the X-Men as a whole. The original movies were boring to me and I definitely didn't have that attachment to the original cartoon growing up like many did. That being said, I'm down to learn/read up on lore and of course I'm gonna see Deadpool & Wolverine! I don't know the X-Men to me were just, very too close to home with the subjects regarding racism and all that intense stuff. I know comics were always political throughout time/its inception but the X-Men always hit on that note constantly (granted this is just from my exposure via the Fox movies) and it kinda turned me off of them. If there ever came a time where I had the option to read through some of the more iconic storylines that the cartoon is taking inspiration from/adapting, I'd gladly read through them! Always love watching your guys' content, keep up the fantastic work!

I honestly wish they could just erase all our memories of the 2010s X-men movies and just rerelease First Class as the MCU’s introduction to the X-Men. They would just need to remove the Wolverine cameo and move it up to the current timeline instead of it being in the early Cold War. I still stand by the fact that First Class is one of the best Marvel movies ever. Even though Days of Future Past, I wish they would’ve done more grounded stories in that timeline before jumping to the future and stuff
