@@RegReg02 Fair question, but to be fair to them as well, , all of the characters in that shot were enveloped in darkness, and Lorna (Polaris) was almost in complete darkness and wearing dark green, so she was the least visible character on that boat. I didn't see who she was until my second viewing of the episode.

@@RegReg02 I'm thinking that maybe part of this difference has to do with where our eyes are looking when we're seeing that scene for the first time. For example, my eyes tend to drift more towards the left side of the screen, so the first person I saw in that scene was Pietro (Quicksilver), followed by Wanda (Scarlet Witch), then Rogue, and I was just starting to focus in on Lorna (Polaris) when that scene ended. Maybe your eyes were more focused on the right side of the screen, and that's why you picked out Lorna first? I have some friends who told me that the first time they saw this scene, the only one they picked out was Rogue, they barely noticed that there were any other characters around her, so I'm guessing their eyes were focused more in the middle of the screen. Anyway, I figure as long as we eventually all get the whole picture, it's all good. 😃👍🏼

X-Men 97 is legit my favorite show of 2024! As you said, each episode got better and better, especially when episode 5 hits where everything takes a change. Not only the storylines and characters were amazing, but I liked how this show naturally showed cameos for all the heroes & villains (i.e. Omega Red, Captain America, Black Panther, MJ & Peter) during certain scenes. I REALLY can't wait for Season 2, this season was legit perfect.

As a long-time X-Men fan and fan of the original series, even though I wasn't born when the show was around, HOLY S*** , THIS SERIES IS EXCEPTIONAL (pun intended). No joke, this series is so masterfully well written, with phenomenal animation and truly compelling characters and deep dark themes that put the Fox X-Men movies to shame. Truthfully this series is some of the *BEST MARVEL MEDIA WEVE SEEN EVER SINCE ENDGAME* (except No Way Home, GOTG3 and Loki)! Compared to how phenomenal this series is, the Fox movies seemed like amateur student films with such a bare-bones understanding of how truly incredible and insane the X-Men stories can be when you truly hire people who care about these amazing characters. After watching this show and this epic finale, Bastion became one of my favourite X-Men/Marvel villains. Theo James especially gave a really superb performance as Bastion; now, whenever I read a comic featuring Bastion, I'll hear his voice. Bro, the number of cameos in this series is INSANE! Cyclops and Jean saying goodbye to Cable/Nathan had me in tears🥺. YO, APOCALYSE IS COMING BACK IN SEASON 2 AND DEFINITELY BRING GAMIT BACK AS HIS HORESMAN OF DEATH, JUST IN THE COMICS! I can imagine how heartbroken Rogue will be when she is forced to fight the man she loves😭 💔 10/10 SEASON 1 I NEED A SEASON 2 NOW!!!

Yes it's true. Kang wants to capture apocalypse and recruit him before he becomes what he becomes, so he can have him rule the earth as his vassel/ally. In the comics the fantastic four go to the past to stop kang. And when kang leaves that time, apocalypse uses kangs tech to augment himself to what we know him as today.

Cable stores Professor, his time cube in his techno-organic arm. Bastion unknowingly absorbed it when he ripped off Cable's arm. After he got caught in the explosion on Asteroid M, that caused the time rift, scattering The X-Men through time.
