It's weird to me how bent out of shape people are over the fact that Morph is into Logan. Especially since it doesn't seem like they even really care about Morph! Morph is the only character who has been changed for this. Wolverine doesn't even reciprocate, they're all just upset on Wolverine's behalf! That just seems unreasonable, to me. Morph would be such an interesting pairing no matter who it is. Because when you think about it, they can technically be any sex they want right? So, if they are with a purely heterosexual person, they can just stay shaped and shifted as the opposite sex they are attracted to; or at least while being intimate. However, I think the best pairing would have to be with someone who is either pan or bi, since that way Morph wouldn't have to choose, which they don't seem to want to given how freely they shift between male and female.

Ya'll are reading way too much into things. They are best friends, and Morph is always the guy to push it with his jokes. Exactly what we saw with him as Xavier. Dark humor, homohumor, ....roasting, Morph uses a lot of humor because he is insecure with his identity. If he was really secure with his mind and himself he wouldn't morph into anything, as he would find fulfilment in his humanity, the one part of him that holds it all together. But him growing as a person that way and finding resolution and his DNA transfiguring and repairing the mutant gene isn't people want to see; they want to see all these powers, and drama, and chaos, and fighting.

A lot of people are saying Morph is gay, but I personally think they are pansexual. They formed a close bond with/has a crush on someone, and that person just happens to be a guy. At the end of the day, saying they're gay or pan is headcanon. They could just be close/comfortable enough with Logan to make dirty jokes and have it not get weird. I have actually have a couple of friends who are like that.

@MrFrogTheChad That depends. On a micro level, it matters based on the individual. A character's sexuality can let someone feel seen and connect with that character. It's the same with any "features" a character might might have, anything from their culture to something as simple as red hair. It hurts no one to allow different types of people to be seen. On a macro level, anything in a show only truly matters if it's relevant to a plot or theme of the show. The X-Men are all about people from all types of walks of life, primarily people who are different from "the norm", trying to create a world where they can live in and be themselves. To that end, for the X-Men, yes, their sexuality is important, especially if it differs from the norm.

When you look at Bobby's dating history since the 1960s when the X-Men were created, it just made sense for his character. Second, there was a "plan" to make Wolvie bisexual by one writer, but it was scrapped. Third, I'm glad it was scrapped. Wolvie, by definition, is a straight Alpha male. (Hell, he's probably a straight "Omega-Male".) Anyway, Wolvie is _completely_ secure in his sexuality. Logan accepts Morph for who and what he is, unconditionally. Wolverine is a gay _ally._ When Morph was captured by Sinister in the original X-Men TAS, Logan fought hardest to get his best friend back. Wolverine doesn't care where Morph dips his wick. Wolverine cares about _who_ his best friend is, and couldn't care lest _what_ his best friend is ... which is the exact point of the X-Men.

Honestly, they're in a locker room after a danger room session where there are showers. I really wouldn't be surprised if Morph likes to goof around in the showers.
