He was right to say that, too many fans take for granted how rare the revival of failed tv shows and films are. Hollywood is in the business of making money, period. When a show, like Young Justice, does not make the money needed to be a success studios are not in the habit of repeating the experience. Only when the climate changes and there are a new set of circumstances (streaming services, superhero genre being more popular, etc) does stuff like this happen. It also doesn't hurt that the show is animated, making it easier to start production again.

He was wrong to say that. As consumers we have the power to say what we do and don't want. Young Justice was cancelled because of toy sales, not because of viewer numbers. Now that the series doesn't hinge on a different medium and different product entirely, it can run on its own merits. People often forget they are the ones with the power, because they are the ones spending. DC will keep pumping out shitty movies because people keep going to see them. Stop spending money on those shitty movies, and suddenly change happens.

Guys I think I have it figured out. So fox only has 4 announced release dates after Logan. March 2 2018, June 29, Nov 29, and Feb 14 2019. Deadpool 2 will probably take the March 2 2018 slot. I really think Fox has made a secret deal with Marvel that they won't announce until late 2017. The last three dates will probably be one movie that finishes the Fox X-Men Franchise which explains that this universe's story is over. The other 2 will probably be used to introduce the X-Men and F4 into Marvel. The signs are all there. 2 directors leaving, in Singer and Miller, probably because they know it'll just be a one and done. No actor's contracts have been extended for Fox. Fox putting less money into their X-Men movies. Marvel cancelling Inhumans which was supposed to be released around November 2018, which is one of the dates Fox has announced for their unnamed movie (Fantastic 4 reboot)...Marvel going along with television shows based on X-Men, when just 2 years ago they were trying to kill the X-men and Fantastic four. After how bad X-Men apocalypse did, It just makes sense for Fox to cut the same deal Sony did. Fox fronts the money. Marvel does everything in making the movie. Fox gets all the revenue from the movie, and Marvel gets the merchandise money for X-Men and F4.

Burnett is right. If I'm not mistaken, the Living Tribunal was killed and his body left on a moon during the Original Sin storyline. Pretty sure that Black Panther / Winter Soldier came across it. The New Gods is a family saga at it's core. This could appeal to mainstream movie goers. I think the 'Fourth World' should be its own standalone movie. It could be DCs answer to Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy and the surprise success that it had.

I'm very torn on the idea of rebooting the X-men. On the one hand, I'd like to keep the continuity we already have because I love the new cast (James MacVoy, Michael Fassbender etc.) and they really left a strong impression on me with the last three movies. But on the other hand I also have to admit that this universe and continuity has gotten very muddled, very confusing, and very VERY disjointed. It does make a lot of sense to just start over and give yourself a fresh start especially with Hugh Jackman leaving after Logan. So I'd be interested to see a X-men reboot but I'd be very sad to loose the new cast.

I'd assume someone else already mentioned this, but Bill Bixby's name in The Incredible Hulk was David Bruce Banner, you can see it in his tombstone. And for the record, I wasn't around yet when this came out, but i did love through the comic book content drought of the 80-90s, and while we had a few great animated shows scattered through this time, but that was it so i had to rely on 70s reruns to get my love action fix

I think Dr. Strange's timeline at least fits into early 2016. Before he gets in his accident, we see the scene of his many watches. It's a little out of focus, but you can see a plaque of some sort that says 2016.

For the record, that Dr Strange post credit scene is NOT from the past, its a clip taken from Thor:Ragnorak! Just like the clip from Civil War being at the end of Ant-Man, its not going to make full sense until we see the next film. Also with Avengers tower existing when Strange has his accident that gives you from 2012 til now (2016) thats several years of him searching and eventually studying with the Ancient One. The film did a bad job of delineating the passage of time, there should have been at least one mention of how long he actually had been studying. Also that Army officer who was injured could be referencing Iron Man 3 events, but never Rhodey. Rhodey is older than 35, and is an Air Force Colonel, like Carol Danvers. I certainly hope that reference to a woman being struck by lightning has no connection to Capt Marvel, that isnt even close to her origin or background.
