We love you Dave. Thank you. You bring so much more to the table than these hateful KZbinrs. Let’s enjoy ourselves; laugh and joke about comics. Why embrace hatred when we have a community who embraces the future of comics and nerd culture. The community you and Blerd bring is heartwarming. Please don’t change ❤️

Excited in some ways for the new era but wasn’t strongly moved by this announcement. I’m thinking of switching to trades, and maybe I’ll get the first two issues to show support. We will have to see how it goes.

I've been buying X-Men comics weekly for longer than I care to admit. I've also loved the Krakoa Era, having bought everything from the beginning through now. I'm a little sad it's ending. But! We're getting something that you rarely see in comics, and that's an end to a story. The Krakoa Era will be a massive and complete Saga. It is, in fact, the largest story Marvel has ever done if you go by total issue count. I consider that to be pretty impressive. I just hope that this isn't like the Disassembled/Age of X-Man Era, where it's really just a stop gap until the writers Marvel really wants become available.

I think you are spot on about immortal thor

It’s actually crazy that in hindsight when I recommend the Krakoa era to people I’ll tell them to skip the actual ending to orchis in house of x and just make up their own ending while reading rise of the powers of x Cautiously excited for the new lineup just going to be hard not to compare it to this era

i had a good time with Krakoa. read the entire line initially, but really pulled back with Fall of Xmen, dropping wolverine and all the minis. Hate reading Duggan, though some of the plot is OKish, just rushed unearned. and the other stuff is awful or horny meh. the rush to endgame and all mutants gone in one move of Hellfire Gala 3 was the true last straw of me loving line; Robot Moira from Hellfire 2 being the previous biggest shark jump. Galas...hmm. Ill miss you Burning Man Island XMen. not excited about any of the new creator lineups, but not sure who would have excited me. Zeb Wells redeeming himself with Hellions-level line reboot, or giving line to Al Ewing for real as you laughed about. Gillen and Ewing running last events felt good, while Duggan and Percy dragged me down personally; pessimistic in how any Krakoa legacy will be felt in new status quo, and cant tell what vibe is yet as mentioned. Marketing fail, with 3 disconnected USA books...why? and if this is the flagship creative lineup, I am not optimistic about the other 6 books either...i have a dumb streak of Uncanny LGY runs, so Ill check out the first issues and stay on Uncanny if its good...but i think its all gone too and meh, no arrako no orchis, i dont need same era, but seeing through line will be important to any interest i wax and wane reading xmen. it was my childhood book, then i got into vertigo, and came back for Morrison Xmen. left, got into weird Hickman image books,m love DUne, came back to Xmen for his Dune Xmen :) i loved it, but seems time to take a break and check in later unless the start knocks my socks off (which isnt going to happen but ill try and remain optimistic. i want to atleast see the bridge (even though the age of xman end into krakoa did not matter at all sigh)... fool me three times...i think this is my end of reading monthly super hero books for the time being, and finally mine all the collected gold on my shelves i like ready AL ewing in collected form and cant wait for immortal Thor to get collected, it looks great. but ill be bummed if he goes to DC, i just dont care about the characters enough and would just tune in later if i really got drawn in. but yeah, he should have had big end and fall, not Duggan. they f'ed up. he should have a major marvel line with the immortal epic myth vibes, dont f it up marvel. Kieron gillen i like too. immortal was the flagship xbook in back half of krakoa.whats he up to now?

Anyone else laughing at the fact that the day they reveal Post-Krakoa is the day they reveal Franklin has his powers back?

@rezza_lynsaii actually given the wording from it he actually might be.

@@bradonbriffa9690 I mean he was retconned not to be and the word mutant hasn’t been dropped. Maybe but I doubt F4 office would
@bradonbriffa96908 ай бұрын
@rezza_lynsaii wouldn't be the first time a character bounced between mutant and non mutant. And given the fact it looks like he'll spend most of the time actually not being a mutant I don't think it'd be a problem
