Fun fact: the actor who played Toad, Ray Park, was also the physical actor for Darth Maul in Star Wars Episode I as well as Snake Eyes in the G.I. Joe movies. And 20+ years later, he still has the moves he did as both Toad and Darth Maul. Also, Rogue actually does wear a special body suit in the comics. I'm surprised you said that, not having read the comics. Another cool fact: when Bobby walks by the elevator just before Mystique walks out disguised as Bobby, it's not a movie magic trick. It's actually Shawn Ashmore(Bobby/Iceman)'s identical twin brother Aaron Ashmore who is also an accomplished actor.

In this movie Wolverine isn't too small, he's actually too big. The real Wolverine is about a foot shorter than Hugh Jackman. A wolverine is half the size of a bear, but more ferocious. His healing factor isn't his only mutant ability, he also has heightened senses which is how he could smell that it wasn't really Storm. Rogue is actually way more badass in the comics, and Storm was not an original X-men as the professor states in this movie, that would be Jean, Cyclops, Beast, Angel, and Iceman. They messed up a lot of canon in these movies.

37:07 Here's the thing, Wolverine may be the most popular, but for the most part, the X-Men have always been Cyclops' team. Scott was Xavier's prize student and his first recruit to the original team of X-Men from the 1960s, which did not include Storm, Rogue, or even Wolverine. Cyclops may have had the worst power out of that group (uncontrollably shooting a death ray from his eyeballs that can shatter mountains), and he tends to be kind of a pill, but he's had the most training in working with mutant powers and he's been leading the X-Men since he was a teenager. Cyclops and Wolverine have been butting heads ever since Wolverine joined the X-Men in the 1970s, and with Wolverine's overall badass ronin/cowboy vibe and spot of badly written character arcs for Cyclops, guess who ultimately became more popular? I am a solid Cyclops-anti and Wolverine stan, and I will admit that Cyclops' portrayal was not done well in live-action. You will see. Great reaction!
