Doom will probably be okay since his background isn't limited to any specific time period, but they'll likely change Magneto's backstory to "fit with the times" since WW2 is getting close to 100yrs ago. There has been discussions that they'll apparently go for a MLK vs Malcolm X dynamic between Xavier & Erik/Max, so there's potentially some race swapping if they go in that direction.
