Really impressed by the strats considering how few people run this game.

First strats for this game are just bunch of youtube clips,mostly coming from a youtube channel named "findlestick". Most of the strats are found by a person going by the name of "vipeazone". They also did a segmented run couple years ago which ended being a 1:03 I think? That run is deleted now. I myself found only couple strats that are used in this run,but that was just enough to make sub 1 possible. Right now,this is the only complete NG+ run of this game I can find on internet.

"if it exists, there's a speedrun of it" I randomly remembered this game and since I vividly recall the entire game, I thought to search for its speedrun. Amazing video. Is ng+ the main category for this game? If so, why?

The reason why I only ran NG+ and never Any% is because for an Any% run, there would be a need for an actual route and I feel like routing it would be extremely exhausting. Thing such as which upgrades to take, what enemies to kill along the way, what dog tags to pick up, etc. There is 1 Any% run that's done without using any glitches and I have no idea if they have an actual route or not.

Hey! I know that this comment may not be replied to but I still wanted to say that I've been interested in speedrunning and this game is the first one I've ever wanted to. I was hoping you could teach me how did you do the skips and a few other tricks if that was possible. Thanks!

yo, I can try to help with learning. I planned on making some tutorials like a year ago but I never did. I might make some soon now that I see that there is someone who is interested in running this. I think I might make a tutorial on IJs for sure as they are the most important piece of tech for this game. I could end up making a tutorial for the full game. This is NG+ category, meaning I have all the upgrades unlocked and max upgraded reflexes. I also play on the easy difficulty. All that is enough to one shot them with one lunge. I don't think every attack can one shot them though.

Nope,I don't do raw recordings of my runs,but I might start doing it in future because a lot of people prefer watching it that way.

This game has the worst physics ive ever seen, only not by simulation, but by design, like if you drop from a plane with an indestructible skeleton, your organs still get liquified,
