Rogue always facinated me, how she always had to deal with her amazing powers as a curse because if she's not careful enough she can just kill the people she loves just by touching them. Her story was always about struggle and tragedy which feels more unique and realistic compared to other larger than life superheroes.

Magneto is my undesputed favourite. I love his complex and compelling backstory, as well as his powerful magnetic abilities. He has been portrayed as a hero and a villain in the comics and various adaptations, which adds to his depth and appeal as a character.

Nightcrawler. One of my favorite themes in the X-men universe is the tension between their gifts and what they cost. Nightcrawler has the heart of an angel and the appearance of a demon. His story line in the animated series is a particular favorite... and his Oval Office scene in x2 still stands as an all time great superhero action sequence.

My favorite character was Archangel with the metallic wings. His transformation from having feathered wings was a great upgrade to that character. He now became, in my opinion, a more valuable member of the X-men/X-factor with the ability to attack from long range by firing poison tipped fletches from his wing as well as being able to battle in close range with his sharp wings. I remember the issue where Angel was asleep but the wings were sentient and protected him by slicing anything that got close to him. Pretty awesome.

My favorite in the X-Universe is Blink. She might not have extraordinary pyhsical (or even mental) enhancements, but I love her ability as well as the creativity she shows using it. Plus, in the Exiles comics she proves to be the heart of the team, the one seeking balance among some rather controversial characters.

I've always loved Jubilee. I'm rewatching the show now so I can jump right in when X-Men '97 comes out, and she really stands out with her far more positive outlook compared to everyone else. In a time that was all about angst and attitude, she was just fun.

I've always loved Archangel with his metallic wings and dark blue skin, Angel's 2nd form. I loved the story of the characters progression and complexity, from good to bad to good. How Apocalypse changes him to one of his 4 horsemen, then his fight to break free. Such a good character arc. I hope to see him come into Marvel Snap, he would make an amazing card. Unfortunately Snap Devs have been too eager to use alternative versions of heroes as variants... Red Goblin and Archangel would be great bigger versions of the cards they are ascended from but they're already used.

Bro! Im sitting and watching Xmen animated series…..AGAIN. I love this series so much because my gran and I would watch every Saturday together when i was a kid. Clearly in the 90s. Gambit has always been my favorite from a young age, starting with his simple "Cool factor" and only growing as I read about his relationships and back story (his old run-ins with Sabretooth, his history as "Le Diable Blanc" of the New Orleans Thieves Guild). Just a great, fun, heartfelt character. Fun fact: in his early-2000's ongoing series, it was revealed that his full power (he had it lobotomized out of him by Sinister) allowed him to charge and explode objects almost instantly just by looking at them. He ends the series having practically a Super Saiyan fight with an alternate universe version of himself, which burns his powers back down to their usual levels.

I actually went to a comicon in Grand Rapids Michigan. That had the reunion of the cast of the 1996 X-Men animated series. And the guy that played wolverine was just the coolest guy ever. So he’s my favorite. Of course I also met the guy who played beast.

Cozy, Like you I have a huge love for Villains/Anti-Heroes, with Magneto being my #1 favorite character. His origin story and his place in the overall marvel universe = one of the more interesting characters out there. Like his place in "God Love, Man Kills", "Age of Apocalypse", "Onslaught" (granted, that was more of Xavier's fault, lol), "Fatal Attractions", etc etc. But, if you REALLY want a good storyline that let's you deep dive his complexities? The 5 issue mini-series "Magneto: Testament" = one of the BEST stories out there, covering his childhood and all of the things that made him who he is. (It was one of the basis for the "X-Men: First Class" movie.) But anyway, how can you NOT like the dude? Having FULL control of the entire Electromagnetic Spectrum (aka: one of the four fundamental forces of the universe), he's pulled off some virtually IMPOSSIBLE feats & is definitely capable of much more. He's Flipped the the polar axis', nearly killed Wolverine and Cable from liquifying the metal in them and ripping it out, RIPPED APOCALYPSE (one of my other favorites) IN HALF, he Tanked a NUKE, Beaten the Avengers & X-Men SOLO Multiple times...he's known for just his "Magnetism" skills, but he's SO much more than just that! Man is pretty much a low-tier reality warper if you get what "Control of the Electromagnetic Spectrum" SERIOUSLY means. He's a LITERAL 'force of nature'. Like sure, if it wasn't for him getting ahead of himself and letting his power go to his head at times, there would be very few people out there that could seriously stop him. Also, in SNAP...i can't tell you how many times he's "pulled" a win for me in places where i thought i was 100% going to lose, lol. He's a freaking BEAST! (And how can you deny the mans DRIP in that Black/White outfit & how Iconic the Purple/Red is too?)

Has to be Magik for me. I always liked the original Colossus stemming from Soviet Russia, bringing over his family, and all of them having some sort of breakdown, Illyana especially what with her being lost in a demon realm only to return years older and scarred. The fact that she's also a playable, no nonsense character in Midnight Suns has also resparked my attention to her. As for the movie, well she was played by Anya Joy, which is also a nice extra. But strangely, I don't remember her doing much in the comics, even in the new era. I guess I'll have to wait and see. Also, she's an amazing card in Snap!

Hard to choose just one X-Man as a favorite as they all have their pros & cons depending on the story arc and who's writing them. Still a big fan of Fitzroy & Bishop in the late Uncanny X-Men. Jim Lee illustrations...*chef's kiss* But if I had to choose one, I'd lean towards Legion. His story is always so interesting. He lead to a multi-comic story arc (Age of Apocalypse), which gave us some of the most interesting versions of the mutants we all know and love, and introduced some great ones as well. Also, he was the protagonist in a trippy, underrated TV show which everyone needs to check out. Hope to see a card based on him in the game.

My favorite xmen and honestly probably one of my favorite heroes is gambit, I love magic tricks and I love doing them and gambit using cards with his ability and the staff just makes me love him more. Obviously he could use any object to throw with his ability but the fact he uses cards is just awesome and I love his style and story. He is considered anti hero but if I remember correctly he had a hard life I guess like most mutants lol. Was so excited when they announced channing Tatum to play as gambit in his own movie but then got canceled I was so sad. Anyways love him and I love the combo invisible women, wong, gambit, then Odin clears there whole board. Love it!!

Jean Grey is my all-time favorite X-Man. She is an atom bomb in a world of firecrackers. She withstood the vocal blasts of Black Bolt. She achieved omega-level status by reconstituting herself through thought alone; she can live as pure psionic energy (even after the Phoenix Force editorial change). Her existence as a human-mutant becoming a Phoenix Host brought the "backwoods" Earth to the attention of the outer worlds. Personally, I just adore the Dark Phoenix.

Favorite X-Men - Original 6: Phoenix -> My Childhood/Teenage Years: Rogue and Gambit -> Y2K and Beyond: X-23 -> Cartoon Favorite: Cable It's way to hard for me to pick just one of the X-Men. They all represented different times and growth in my life. I always like Phoenix (Jean Grey) because of the mental torment she endured. I could relate. Rogue and Gambit were so cool and an interesting play off each other in their attitudes. As a teenager I felt like Rogue and wanted to be Gambit. X-23 is just awesome, viscious, feral at times, and a ball of mistreatment ready to throw down. As for the cartoons (and some comics) Cable was my favorite. So focused on his mission, sometimes to the detriment of the mission itself, and a killer back story that was crafted over time. Being a time traveler is awesome but I thought Cable never really changing throughout his travels was a great way to avoid major retcons.

I always loved nightcrawler especially during Age of Apocalypse he was more aggressive and teleporting a head off wow. It brought different outlook on the character to me when I was younger. I also related to him as he was judged for his looks and I am Hispanic and I had a few experiences when I was younger where my ethnicity was looked at as a bad thing.
