Love love this era of The Xmen. I wish more stories exploring The Outback team would be made, also to have more insight into what it was like for The four Xmen to travel through the Siege Perilous. I’m glad Betsy is back in her body but I do miss her when she was in the body of Kwannon.

Jim Lee just knew how to draw her, GYAT DAMN! Visually stunning but almost as convoluted as the Spider Clone Saga.

In some ways I do like the body swap and in other ways I don’t. Like people already know it’s problematic that Betsy did take over a Japanese woman body for years (and Ik it wasn’t her choice but that happening was bad regardless). It also kinda hard to see psylocke (with Kwannon’s body) as Betsy when it technically still is but also not at the same time. I do like Kwannon more that for sure but I also feel like due to the body swap Betsy basically gets shafted. Ik they technically share the same mind (similar to rogue and Carol) but I feel like that was handled better than Kwannon and Betsy. That’s just my take tho.

I miss the more interesting Betsy tbh, I think Captain Britain isn't really doing anything for me because Tini Howard is a terrible writer and I don't really think she would ever end up with Rachel Summer's over Kitty so I'm not impressed with the mishandling of her character On the other hand Kwannon was one of my favourite characters in Hellions and I haven't read Marauders because I'm not a fan of the book but I don't think it matters But I'm happy for her 💜
