In an interview with Phillip K Dick, he said that he enjoyed this broadcast and so did I. I'm still wrapping my head around the fact that this story is 63 years old! This program was definitely ahead of its time!

I remember listening to this series for the first time around 2006/8, when I had my first job as a cart attendant. I listend to the majority of these stories, back to back on my mp3 player all day at the time. Listening to them now before bed for the last few weeks, revisiting them like an old book. This is the only one I have zero recollection of. It's a good one. Glad to find it.

Watch out for Row-Butts! Is it robot or robutts?

Pronunciation changes over time. In other older episodes on this channel, you'll notice Los Angeles pronounced with a hard "G", and California fully enunciated - versus what is commonly said now ("Californya").

This and the episode “Hello Tomorrow” seem to have a similar theme to the Apple TV+ series (based on the books) Silo.

So many writers have plagiarized parts of this radio Play over the years. The most recent is the video game fallout. Which blood over into the Amazon streaming series of the same name, fallout.
