One of my all time favorite episodes and one I've listened to many times; time and time again. I finally got around to reading the short story it's based on and wow! This radio adaptation is far superior! Very cleverly told 20-some minute radio play that is deeper than Piper's original story. But it's only 16 pages long and a very quick read. "Earth Abides," a great 2 part X-Minus One episode, based on the novel of the same name is still on my reading list. I love old time radio, although only a few still hold up 70 to 90 years later as well as this one does.

I'm not sure I would want this to happen to me or not. Of course I would love any foreknowledge that would assure me wealth but I think life would be boring the second time around without the risk and mystery of the unknown. This is one of my favorite stories so far. It's one that I wish would continue on.

I've been thru similar to the character of the son , though in lucid dreams of future events , which have now become a part of history , yet I nw of these events , up to 13 years out from the incidents . This still sometimes occurs , yet trying to get the information to those who could do something , has been found to be a waste of my time , followed by accusations of "nutter " or similar , until the incident , then all goes quiet for a while and starts again . Now , I let it happen , as it's meant to happen , as no- one listens , sadly .
