I wasn’t at all familiar with Jenna Ortega until I saw Scream back in January, and now I’ve seen all three of her horror films in theaters this year, lol. I hope she continues to “carve out” a niche in the horror genre. That look on her face when she screams in “X” that’s on the poster is incredible.

I cringed at what happen to Jenna's character, it was my first introduction to her as an actress, and because she's same age as my sister and also has that innocent babyface like my sister, she was most relatable to me as audience. None of the character really deserved what happen to them, but when bad things happen to Jenna I really felt bad for her because I immediately thought of my sister in that situation. I still can't get the image of old couple sex out of my head. Thanks for that Ti, FU buddy. xD

When you think about it, brittany's character wasn't rele involved with any of the horror parts of X, apart from hearing maxine screaming.....and of course being killed by an alligator. But nothing as much as mia and jenna's characters. All actors in the movie did a brilliant job. The interviewer was wrong, jenna filmed scream in late 2020, and X in early 2021. And got the call saying netlix or tim wanted her to be wednesday while filming X.

They should have carried on at least another day after the first guy was killed, to add more to the lusty adventure of the shy film maker's girlfriend, rather than just have the old lady go on a single night killing spree. It would have added more suspense and a lot more sexy content. They even skipped her sex scene, which was a huge disappointment. We didn't get to see any of that change unfold, or play out their relationship in any direction (good or bad), which could have lent to a more sinister suspense of paranoia and gaslighting. There was really no reveal of who might be the killer, so this was just a short story quickie horror flick. It had so much more potential. Mia Goth was the only real selling point for me. Seeing more of Jenna Ortega branch out into horror and hot sex scenes would have really gave it the punch that was probably the original intention, but the actual director must have chickened out too. I guess they get a point for realism in that aspect at least.
