It really depends on how the person tuning/using it, For me luka's eng v4 voicebank is amazing and clear. i'm sure there are still more luka eng/jp demos to come, so lets wait for it everyone =).

Zelphox Or.. you could not deal with it, and get another vocaloid to your liking. Which to me makes more sense. Nobody is forcing anyone to buy /like what you don't want. For me that's what a demo is for. You hear it. You like it. You don't like it. There is no right or wrong. So... no people don't have to deal with it. I for one won't be buying Luka based on her English. That's my choice. And i won't put anybody else down for liking or buying her. That's their choice. Deal with that. Because that's the way it should be. People have different taste. Period.

The growl and extra emotion sound so good, I freaked out when she growled it sounded so human-like. But I do have a complaint, Cypton, why are your english voicebanks taking three steps back? it could very well be tuning, but the beginning of the song was so choppy and unclear, hear sounded like dear and parts of it were unclear, which I don't get. Kaito had an amazing voicebank and Meiko sounded fantastic for the type of voice she has but Miku sounded embarrassing, and Luka sounds unfinished, I know this is probably an unfinished VB demo, but work is needed to be done if to how you make the english voicebanks, I heard that Kaito's English VB was outsorced to a english vocaloid company, if that's true, why arnt you using that company to make the others? But overall I am very excited for V4 and V4X, good work :)

I wouldnt say choppy but some of her pronounciation is kinda bada like when she said water, I somehow feel like she's saying a Japanese Ah instead of an english Ah XD. But you are right she is gonna be worth the wait

Meiko is totally great too, I did mention her but I'm just using Kaito as more of an example because of how good he is (I'm might be wrong but I think Meiko's English VB was also outsourced as well). I know choppy wasn't the right word I just couldn't explain it. Luka is pretty awesome so I'm really happy she's getting the spotlight right now!

Her English is pretty understandable (except in some parts but I believe it can be fixed). My favourite part is "I should have been the one" like, whoa she sounds really amazing there. I can't wait to hear her Soft English since I can't really hear it here. Good job guys!

She sounds so gorgeous now that she actually has some power in her voice. Original Luka is great, but with out some power she could never really sell more emotion required songs. Jitter Doll would be a good example. Miku, with her SOLID append, could pull that off with flying colors. Bring in Luka? She had no powerful appends, matter of fact she has no appends at all to my knowledge. So it would sound less than it's full potential. But now? She could probably pull it off now that she has a little power boost in her voice. Matter of fact, I want to see that happen upon her V4's release (if it's not out already. Sorry, can't read Japanese ;/).

She'll be release in March 2015 (got a bit delayed) Luka now has English append called Straight (more power) with Soft (basically her V2 English tone) So that's why she can bring more powerful voice now :D

Eh? "She sounds so gorgeous *now*?" Arguably Luka has sounded gorgeous all along. It's just that she was never truly used properly by a lot of people. Enhancements to her expressiveness and power are very welcome of course, but there's plenty that she was able to pull off beforehand as well. I know that everyone keeps bringing this up, but seriously check out Yuyoyuppe's works- a good few of them not just two tracks- and you'll realise that she was used very effectively by someone with the right mind. One of Yuyoyuppe's nicknames/titles on NicoNico was "The Luka Master" and you should be able to hear why that is when you delve into his tracks. Her V4 will simply make it easier to make her sound good. Nothing wrong with that, just that there wasn't really much wrong apart from consistency between syllables to begin with. Her tone has always been gorgeous. Hidden, but gorgeous and evident with some research.

At the beginning of the song I was so confused by the choppy English but by the end of it I was in awe, the English improved over the course of this song and the growl+cross synthesis were applied well. And the song itself was good too :)

This is such a major improvement from her V2 I'm so so so happy xD The tuning and pronunciation was a bit rough at the start but it's most likely due to the vsqx. However once the pre-chorus started she just sounded so much more natural and that 'one' has me starstruck evey time, it's so real!! Plus her new tine sounds waayyy better, it'll fit more genres this way and has got to be my favourite voice tone of all english vocals, even if it ends up not being the highest quality. Definitely hyped up again for her release, so glad my no.1 is sounding like a no.1 again!!

Circus's tuning is stellar as usual, but in this case, it really makes Luka's new power shine. This Straight voicebank has a clear, solid strength that the original V2 English didn't. It reminds me of the improvements from Kagamine Len's Act 1 and 2 to his Power Append.

I've actually met Luka's voice provider (Yū Asakawa) and we've had a conversation on the extreme differences between her voice and Luka's voice. But after hearing Luka's V4X, I can definitely say that she sounds a lot more similar to her voice provider now, which is kind of cool!

OMG, her new English voice sounds too good to be true. It's clearer than her old voice bank where you can mostly hear the words she is saying. It's not perfect since some words aren't as clear and it could just be me, but the punctuation could be a bit better. Either way, I'm happy that she has a better and improved English VB. She was always my top favorite vocaloid. Len is first and then its usually a tie with Miku and Luka then Rin.

Her voice had been improved drastically rather than being utterly soft voice in previous V2 engine version. Looks like I'm gonna buy that Megurine Luka V4 voicebank because I'm already have V4 editor and thinking to re-made a cover song that I made done before.
