Steverino Arch yea just select “Start with Engines Running” in ‘Customise Aircraft’ in the user interface before loading in to the craft

At 24:30 in the lesson I attempted to insert STYMY and it went to a screen that was titled "NEW WAYPOINT". STYMY was listed in L1 as STYMY and L2, 3, & 4 had orange boxes for LAT/LONG, Place / BRG / DIST, Place / BRG / DIST. When I slect RETURN on R5, it returns to the Flight Plan page and nothing has changed. Discontinuity is still displayed. So basically going any further in the tutorial is not practical.

Daniel, you need to activate your plane first which is done inside the cockpit. Look for the manual in the DOCs folder which is inside your FlightFactor A320 ultimate folder. Scroll down to the installation section and it explains how to add your serial number in the FMC or MDCU (A320).

I think there is a really nice tutorial by Blackbox711 on SEC FPLNs. He does explain it with the FSLabs 320 for P3D, but It's the same aircraft, so it does not really matter.

A Q hold your mouse cursor over the top of the selector switch to push and the bottom to pull. The indicator will change from an up arrow to a down arrow

@Micah Messer Only 2 of the 6 displays are functioning - On the far left one it says 'A/C not activated' in RED and the far right side display is the same. The display on the 2nd from left says in RED 'HDG MAP NOT AVAIL' and this is repeated on the 2nd from right display. The 2 central displays (one above the other) seems to be functioning correctly. So how do I get those 4 displays to show correctly? I presume I can't go ahead with engine start until this has been resolved?

ADIRS is not aligned. Please go step by step through my tutorial. The FF A320 is a study level aircraft and not meant for those who have never flown an airliner properly before.

Micah Messer - ah - partial success. I hadn’t entered the key log numbers into the MCDU. Now I’ve done that, I’ve managed to start up the APU and then main engines startup after that. So managed to get a flight in which I’m pleased about, but still those 4 displays are not showing properly. Also, I can’t enter any numbers into the autopilot - basically it’s not letting me do that. So a few more steps to take yet, but I’m getting there! At least I’ve had a successful flight with a great smooth buttery landing at KSEA.

When u load the aircraft in xplane 11 in the menu, there should be a box that says start engine. Uncheck that box.
