Its Denver Denver is a high elevation airport, if not one of the highest in the United States. Obviously, takeoff performance is impacted because of it. Go watch any takeoff from Denver or any high elevation airport for that matter

On the takeoff roll you should slightly push the yoke forward until almost to liftoff-speed. You want to keep the nose wheel planted IF you experience an engine failure before V1. With wet surfaces you might lose directional control with an engine failure or abort. Just my 2 cents.

12:35 when u are starting firstly u have to push ur levers to 40% of power if engines are working similar and all is good u must click n1 on autopilot panel near autothrottle switch :P

Captain in holding his hand on throthle in case of RTO situation and doing take off procedure. So, of course pilot done everythink what ? anonymous ? described above.

I’ve tried this before and this isn’t as immersive as you would think, especially with controlling the thing through the vr sticks. The university I did it at ended up replacing the vr thing all together because it just wasn’t good enough. Having something like a yoke in your hand and using this to see could work a little better, but you would have to get the positioning just right.

Itll be a great day in gaming and simming history when vr headsets are powerful enough to render in a clear quality. Right now i barely use mine as it causes too many headaches and its so hard to read tiny numbers on guages etc.

That depends on your PC and Headset. I have the first generation HTC Vive, with SS at 1.5 I can read anything very easily. If you have a lower end PC (anything under 1060) then yeah, save up and get a VR RIG.

You definitely need Win10 for VR. ASW only works on win10 and it will always turn on cuz you can't get 90 stable fps in X-plane 11. All my programs and games works at win10 like at win7 before. I have LTSB 1607.

Pretty smooth, I haven't checked the actual frame-rate, but within the headset it's pretty good. I'm running a (terribly old) i5-4690k and 1060 6gb and with decreased settings, it's pretty great

Nice video. Are you following a check list which should be done or are you just doing it from memory? Over head panels should be done in sequence from top to bottom and left to right as you go so as not to miss anything. The same with other panels.

You actually use the VR controllers to control throttle and the stick, I dont have the game so I have my own questions. Like how do you controls each separate throttle lever when they are packed together? VR controllers are kind of clumsy.
