Hi there Q8 First, our sincere thanks for flying a full flight in our C-560XL! We very much enjoyed watching you fly it into SFO. Good job pilot! Thank you also for pointing out things we are very proud of: real-recorded FMOD Sounds, features, functions, systems depth and accuracy, lighting, and object modeling details and painting authenticity. As you noted, we also spent a lot of time to replicate the normal wear, tear and grunge we found in our real-jet reference; real life cockpits do not look like pristine, smooth, photo shopped objects that we find in other aircraft, so we hope that sets us apart from the rest. We also sincerely appreciate how you gave voice to the fact that we have (as do all devs) put a lot of research, thought, and effort into this, our first offering; and yes, as our support site demonstrates, we are always open to actionable feedback and HAVE used customer feedback to power regular version updates. Our next release (1.6) is queued and ready to go once XP12.1 ships, coz its required for our upgrades to work. The thoughts you expressed in support for all developers was also very commendable, and sincerely appreciated. XP is indeed playing catch up, so please know that we are active in private Dev channels with LR and other devs, and we can assure everyone reading this that the LR team is super serious and focused on improving their known XP12 beta issues. Chief among them that visually challenge the cockpit experience in ALL aircraft: -- dark cockpits -- fuzzy cockpit instruments, textures, labeling -- occlusion shadows and FSR rendering issues These issues impact ALL aircraft, for example, if you look at 54:40 of your 650 V1.8 Beta giveaway video, you'll notice that the whole 650 cockpit look terribly fuzzy too. Another example is your ToLiss 340 video -Best FBW Airbus at 26:58 Those fuzzy cockpit textures are NOT THE AIRCRAFT’S FAULT!! But are caused but the aforementioned known and documented XP12 visualization bugs. So we are ALL looking for cockpit texture improvement in XP12 as it comes out of beta. We too have, no surprise, flown many extended, complicated bug free flights, in all kinds of weather, at all times, to include auto landings -- which BTW the real jet does not have, just like our Augmented panels, and Auto Throttle additions that you talked about. So thank you for also calling out those features that are "something the real jet does not have" and were added by us for sim- experience enhancements because they made sense to include for everyone's enjoyment. This comment from an existing customer about sums up the experience we have heard from most who fly our the C-560 -- (taken from an unsolicited submission on our support site) "My main interest is flying bizjets, and this one is an excellent addition to my "hanger". Also, Support responds very quickly on this forum too. Thanks for that." We have other such comments, some displayed on our website, which makes us feel pretty confident that a purchase of the C-560XL is a positive experience for our customers. I just purchased the plane an love it. Im running 4k xp12.1 an the cockpit loooks fine to me! The depth is tremendous. The phenom 300 has no fmc which i own an so im not bothered by it missing. Also i never fool with fuses so coukd care less. Spend more time on other things

This video illustrated your point made that this airplane does not react well to those who assume things should work the way they think it should... especially when they don't notice things are wrong and do nothing to fix them while using a system not native to the plane. I'm very much interested in this, but hesitant on the cost... The bigger my hangar gets, the less each plane is flown!

I fly airliners mostly, so certainly this acf won't be in my hangar any time soon, but one thing that really stands out is, once again, the stellar quality of your reviews. You are fair and impartial, your points are extremely valid, and most importantly, you have great respect for the devs, always trying to provide an honest and balanced view. Thanks for this review! After much debate to spend the money and support the developer with this aircraft, its simply not up to standard and I'm currently not willing to part with that kind of money for this level of work. The same goes for the AKD GLF550, which is a shame because the 560xl and G550 are two awesome aircraft in the real world.

They *are* great jets IRL. I love flying Citation jets. They have great manners and are very reliable. I've flown Mitsubishi, Lear, Challenger, Honda, and a few other makers but I really appreciate the deisgn rubric that the Cessna has for the Citations. Seeing how they have changed from their inception to now, has been a great thing to witness. They used to joke about them being the only jet that can get birdstrike damage from behind (joking about the straight wings and slow speed...) but all that stopped with the Citation X series for damn sure. VERY fast, VERY reliable and great comfort. The II SPs are prob my favorite to fly since you really can do the workload as a single pilot. I also quite like the Ultra (700s) and 500-600 series as well. These jets can land on short fields, reliably, and even take off from very short runways without placing undue stress on the airframe/gear. My friend Mark could land one of them and taxi off before the first taxiway at Uvalde, and that's saying something!

Hi, Q8! Try to change set bank angle limit from 3 to 6, after take off, for next c560 fly. Acft will follow more better the rote.

$60? Not sure what drugs the Dev's are on, but that is about $50 too much for that.. .. .. .. Cockpit is a complete car crash and the G1000 looks ridiculous .. ..

Hi: Here are some observations we made during your flight to help make your flight experience a better one the next time you fly the C-560XL: LET US TRAIN YOU: Our previous offer still stands -- please reach out to us to help train you if you do another streamed flight -- and we hope you do!! And just like you offered the hot start C-650 team the opportunity to CP with you on a future flight, we hope you will give us the same opportunity and preferential treatment to have us fly CP when you stream next -- then we could answer questions, and help make your flight better in real-time so it looks less buggy when it really is not. HAD WE BEEN LIVE WITH YOU IN THIS STREAM, we'd could have pointed out these things we noticed, in real-time: (BTW all this info can all be found in the online POH, or our YT channel Tutorials) (Just our notes, so not in any particular order) * The jet sailed past your initial ALT set on climb-out because the AP was not used to climb To it (using VVI or FLC). * In this AP, clicking ALT does not "grab" current alt (like airliner AP's do). You must fly "to" the ALT you set in the window, for the AP's ALT to then AUTOMATICALLY engage to hold ALT, when set ALT is reached. * yes!!! if Turn is Not on 3, AP will not turn on. That's a safety feature designed by Cessna in this jet. * To use VVI or FLC, you must first turn ALT off (if Green ALT status in the PFD status bar). * Use VNAV to descend without Navigraph. VNAV requires some setup in the G1000 and works flawlessly (details in the POH). Try it sometimes, great fun (and all automatic, right down to an automatic landing!). * The HYD Pump light: turns on periodically to maintain pressure, or when systems require hydraulics. (flaps, speed brake, or other sys ops). * AC bearing failure: Your pilot Karl was right... something in the AC failed; only ground maintenance can fix (as in real life). No flight impact. Just more depth of systems authenticity. * Bank angle warnings: Not a bug. Covered in POH: its a g-force safety feature of the jet. Fix: Set AP turn to LOW to remain in the green arc in the PFD above 10,000 ft alt. Someone in your stream called this out. * Yes that cockpit flickering was from lightening; you swiveled the outside view too fast to see it. Pause at 1:31:54 -- lightening bolt in the sim! * On final approach: APR ILS captured, but since your CRS for VOR1 was not set to match the RWY ILS CRS, your VOR instrument was not centered. Someone in your stream pointed that out. * Checklists: yes, topics can be started in the pop out also -- you need to "scroll" the pop up’s title to show or advance topics, not click (mimics scrolling/thumbing though Chklst pages in real life). * Checklists: Turn chklsts off first (Norm button) before MFD power off; The cryptic pop out lettering after shutting down with the display still active is designed to show that the checklist has no power. You correctly used the MFD power dial. * FMOD sounds: Thanks for overall compliments! We love the sounds too! As you correctly noted, those are all real-world recordings. That BTW is why the switches all sound the same (boring, we know) but those are real switch click recordings so every switch sounds like that in the real cockpit. Same with the dials. Changing them would be introducing unauthentic sounds. * Rotary test: yes, those are all real-world recordings with animations/lights/MC and Master Warning integration all timed and authentically modeled. Covered in the online POH. * Changing Xponder, ADF Frequencies in RMU: Mouse over the top and bottom of each digit to change the digit. Covered in the online POH. * Mode C transponder works: Handy if flying in real-world environments like VATSIM to give ATC your ALT. * You turned both Landing and Pulse lights on. Not necessary. If you want pulse lights, no need for Landing lights also. The custom Pulse ones are flight and safety profiled to turn on to Landing lights (steady) or Pulse lights when necessary, like TCAS, or at different AGL. More detail in the online POH. * You brushed past the Yoke, but all its buttons work: Try the highly customized TCS function. Covered in the online POH. * Yep, we saw have some throttle hardware issues. At climb out when you engaged the AT, the Starboard engine went RED!!! Next time, click the region BETWEEN the throttles to quickly "sync" them. * fuel was imbalance during the flight. Cause: APU use, and red-lining engine at the start. Imbalance did not have any effect overall, but don't miss the step in the checklists to use X-Feed to balance before TO. * Strong crosswind component: Did you notice how the AP handled the crab angle just fine?! Also look for and use the WIND button on the Realistic EFIS to display velocity/direction in the PFD. * Refer to the AOA indexer topic in the POH: Your approach speeds were off. Notice speed tape flap 1, 2 green lines and flap 3 black markings. Those are ref speeds, and, the custom AOA indexer on the downtube will be green circle and dot on correct approach AOA. Your AOA was too shallow (Orange chevron) and LS too fast (Magenta dot), and that’s why you bounced a bit. * Nose Wheel runway centering: Use indicators built into the front panel for NW-on-RWY centering Search for "the jet's centerline" topic in the POH. * G1000 pop outs: Click top half to displays PFD option, lower half for MFD option. That's intentional, and a custom design for the aircraft's G1000 panel. * The STAB MISC annunciation lights up while Flap1 and outside flying Elevator are misaligned (takes up to 20 sec to align). Covered in the online POH. * You can open the main door from either inside or outside. * WSfault is governed by ambient temps and if Heater is left on. Covered in the online POH. * Good job not cooking N1 on take off!! NI bug setting was perfect. * Refer to the topic CLIMBING A REALISTIC ASCENT / CLIMB PROFILE TO CRUISE ALTITUDE in the POH, that will fly the jet to Cruise in authentic ways. Sorry to see you did not get the time to show the aircraft lights at night! Would have been nice for your customer to see that! There are over 300 real lights all over the aircraft! Have you seen the "shark lights"?? Maybe we can do a night flight together. Our offer to CP on a future flight with you still stands. Take us up on it! I normally don't like to be negative but this is so poor for the cost. That G1000 screen looks so out of place. They really lost their way with this.

Nice video on Citation Need your opinion on hardware I’m currently using the mouse to fly all planes and the effect is a very bouncy flight with little control I know you’re a Thrustmaster ambassador. Can I use that nice Boeing joystick with x plane or is that only for MSFS? Thanks

30:33 - That shot right there..... look at it. Look at how low resolution the textures are. It really looks like a shot from a panel from Flight Simulator 2002, or maybe X-Plane 8. It it haard to believe that they are asking the money that this product costs. It is so weak in all areas; systems realism, textures, modelling, sounds. Look at the gauges in MSFS or something like Aerobask, then look at the EFIS screens in this. This is an appalling standard for XP12.

That's what you choose to focus on? Clearly this plane isn't for your category if your primary concern is perceived texture quality. I believe it's a cost of them trying to overcome the xplane dark cockpit problem. Maybe i should quit xplane as a whole because of that. It's unacceptable.

Q8 is very clear on this as well.. I believe it is a universal sentiment at this juncture. If the dev fixes the thigns and adds the features he's talked about the product will iterate to a very nice jet. It has a lot of potential, so only time will tell...

I've been looking for another Biz Jet for a while now. After going to the Xplane store and seeing this new jet, I had to look into it before purchasing. 8 minutes in this video and I decided AirSim is trying to SCAM flyers into buying this aircraft. The pictures @ Xplane store, Cockpit look GOOD!! But obviously AirSim is trying Bait and Switch>>>>> LOSERS!!! The cockpit here in the video looks like 25 y/old textures! WOW, they could have done a LOT better job building this. AirSim>>>>>>>> *I will NOT be purchasing this kind of garbage, @ 69 bucks* And after reading thru the comments here, I agree with them......AirSIm, you wasted your time putting out junk!!
