I fly these planes IRL. When you start the APU, select the knob to the "On" position to command the FADEC to start, and check the EICAS. On the APU box, when it changes from amber dashes to actual RPM and EGT, it means that the FADEC is on. Then you can select the start position for 3 seconds. Also, the hydraulic 3A goes to the on position before pushback. Impressed at the progress they've made. Looking forward to trying this myself.

OMG this made my day!!! Seeing a new post from you Sam really made me so happy, and what made me even happier was seeing that you've had such a smooth flight with our latest update. I was feeling a bit down today and this really sprung me back up! Thank you so much for your support over the years, and WELCOME BACK! WE ALL MISSED YOU!!! 🖤 You know what the funny thing is, after you set yourself up for the landing, I though to myself - "Great, a smooth flight, all the automation did what it should and nothing can go wrong now!" (Famous last words!) And then you turned off the replay and then suddenly you heard the ridiculous GS warning going off!!! I really had to laugh :D Mainly because after hundreds of flights I've never seen this and none of our beta testers reported anything similar. But the good news is that in the next version 1.1.1. we're actually adding the G/S INHIB function (located under the gear lever) which will be able to silence that in case it ever happens again. I believe it could be related to the X-Plane replay mode. During the replay, not all data is updated correctly, so that could have caused that glitch.

Quick correction, all you have to do before you enter the runway is arm the auto throttle and push the TOGA button. No need to hit the FD button. Then line up on the runway and push the throttle forward, that's it.

Great flight. What a wonderful aircraft. Just a point about having to turn the APU switch to start twice. According to Marco's tutorial, when you first turn the APU switch to the on position, you must wait a few seconds for the yellow indicator in the APU screen display to stop flashing. This indicates when the APU is ready to be started. Then turn the APU switch to start for a couple of seconds and the APU will start first time. I hope that helps.

Do you also have the Microsoft Flight SImulator 2020 FSS E-Jets for comparison? Are X-Craft and FSS the same team but with different names (like Carenado and Alabeo), or are both planes coming from different development teams? Which version do you think is better and more realistic: FSS or X-Craft?

I do have the FSS E-Jets and the XCraft aircraft is far better in my opinion.

@@Q8Pilot I did not have time this morning to watch this full video but only watched 15 minutes or so, but now I am looking forward to watch the full vid while dinner is getting ready :) the E-Jets are awesome and look like cute little Baby-Boeings, I will keep them in mind as next winged queen. So the X-Plane version is the best version when choosing an E-Jet and superior to the FSS version, thank you very much for this tip. I will check Marco´s website from X-Crafts to see what features it has and what features are planned in the future. :)

Hello Q8Pilot! This may be a really basic and dumb question, so please forgive me for asking, but at 4:45 on the video: how are you able to be in full-screen XP12 and then pull up the Navigraph window? I have been looking for days on how to do this, but maybe I'm not searching the right keywords? Is there a tutorial video about this, or is this some Windows feature I'm missing? Thank you in advance, and I love your videos! I have learned so much from your streams and that's saying a lot because I've been flying flightsims since the early 1980's. Yeah, I'm an old guy!

This was a stream on twitch and the highest quality would be 1080p. The quality is just fine on my monitor and no one has complained. It could be that your internet connection is slow.

I only asked because I am very close to purchasing the addon but obviously I would be very disappointed if the cockpit resolution were not as sharp as I'd like it to be. I'll go and watch a few other videos to see. It might my monitor too.
