Hard to believe this was 2 years ago when i stopped using FS9 and updated my hardware and software. The Zibo 737 would have been hard to imagine 30 years ago when i started flight simming. Fantastic video Q8.

Totally agree. I'm an FSX vet - many, many hours and money spent on FSX over the years. I took a break and am now discovering Xplane 11. After a week of the default b737 (which isn't horrible but leaves a lot to be desired), I discovered the Zibo mod and I must say, yes, it is comparable to the PMDG in FSX. And I know there's an IXEG or something for Xplane, but this freeware mod is amazing. The soundpack itself is worth the price of (free) admission. And I just downloaded the RG Mod and the reflections and textures are even more amazing! I love this new generation of sim. This is what I've been after for a long time.

The leading edge slats light stays on longer now because of the time it actually takes them to retract(if you're on 11.10B8) Flight-control dynamics: We now have flap and leading-edge flap and slat extend and retract times, all of which can be different, and also a flap speed ratio when retracted, so the flaps can move slower near the small deployment angles, and faster at the larger angles, as real flap systems commonly do. So the flaps and slats are really dialed in here, done specifically for the Airbus project (certifiable flight Airbus A-320 sim we are working on) but with upgrades available to all as always. ^^Per the changelog.

Very smooth takeoff..overcast sky covered up the scenery below..i find that flying into EHAM, the winds can be a bit fierce on approach, the approach & city lights look so real and clear..totally beautiful..great landing...loved it as always

Another excellent X-Plane 11 video Osama with what I would consider to be a great textbook landing. However I would have preferred if you could have walked through the start-up procedure of the B737-800 (Zibo mod) a little slower with just a bit more explanation for relative rookies like myself. btw: could you also provide links to where to get Better PushBack and the modified textures for the B737 - that would be very nice. I have an idea for a video. Yesterday I had a flight on IVAO with my new Rotate MD-80. Im coming from Boieng but the Autopilot Nealy made me throw my PC out the window. Unfortunately there's not a single book or PDF or KZbin video that explains the Autopilot. It would be awesome if you could make one. Dutch Planes The cold and dark setup that Q8 did is a rushed and quick version. For a better full Zibo 737-800 startup, I recommend X-Check and his latest Zibo cold and dark setup. You can also download the startup checklist from his video too 😄

Nice video as always. Just wondering, looking at your link to your graphic settings, why do you have your reflection setting set to off. I have mine set to max and haven't noticed any FPS drop. Many other simmers seem to have it at low or off as well. Why is this the case even tho there isn't really much of an FPS drop, am I missing out on something? I have GTX 1060 6GB on laptop. Hello, I myself have found that the reflections tend to hit my fps quite dramatically with minimal visual difference. I went from a constant 40 frames to 29 in a dense urban area just by moving reflection detail to low. (I have a GtX 1080) Everyone is different of course, however for me, reflections absolutely destroy my FPS 😀

Sir I have two query that needs your advise I try to hand fly both zmod 737 and FF 767 , I find it extremely easy and realistic while trying the zmod 737 , but when it come to FF 767 , it becomes extremely volatile and unstable , same setting in both . What would be the reason? Second , when you do a landing and disengage the AP like 500 ft before landing , do you have to also disengage the auto throttle? If yes the how do you control the speed it landing , I have seen that I am unable to control the throttle to the exact landing speed. Please advise . I'm a noob who wants a realistic flightsim for exclusive VR use. Do I get Aerofly 2 ($27) or X-plane 11 ($21)? I know that Aerofly 2 is the best-performing, best-looking game in VR (also, beautiful clouds), but it still has no dynamic lighting, no real water, a poor flight model and no traffic. I'm afraid its stellar performance will take a decent dip when they add these to it. On the other hand, X-plane 11 is way more mature and has probably the best flight model in all sims, but performance kinda sucks in VR. The VR update is taking too long and seems to be directed towards UI and not better performance. What would you guys recommend? Performance is my biggest priority here, and I hear Aerofly 2 runs fully maxed at a smooth 90 fps in VR.

Hey there Silvio, I have the RD1 Redbird alloy rudder pedals. They are configurable from the X-Plane interface. Simply press them, and the axis will be detected.

Can anyone help? I have been trying to get zibo 737x to work in xplane11 for months and different problems and bugs keep coming up making xplane impossible to use. I cannot afford £80 for a payware aircraft and zibo seems to be the only solution. At the start of playing plane 11 (mid 2019) it worked perfectly but I didn’t no how to fly I nearly had the hang of the zibo 737 when bugs came up making it unusable. I have reinstalled several times on steam and even reset windows 10 but no luck. I am running out of options!

Well it is in the sense that some viewers watch your videos to see how things are done as well as those like myself for entertainment. I am a pilot so I pick these things up lol. It really isn't difficult to remember to do and as mentioned something to remind simmers that they should be doing as well. FAA regulations count for a very very small amount on a World wide basis in fact. If one is demonstrating a full systems aircraft then I would deem it as essential to do things correctly. It also makes for better satisfaction to do things properly doesn't it? Otherwise you would only need basic AI aircraft to chuck around the sky.
