6:45 OMG! I remember this sound effect! We used to make fun of it all the time in school! 19:59 Who were these guys? Were they actual impersonators that they hired for this bit or are they both TechTV employees that happened to look like Tom Cruise and Luke Wilson?

I miss 2003. Some of my favorite GameInformer issues came out that year.

I remember when I first watched this episode. I sometimes wondered if Adam & Morgan subtly gave away the game of the year early on, notice they read out "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic" together in both categories it won.

Cool. A behind-the-scenes image from the TechTV site lives. This is better than any of the Oscars, Grammys, Golden Globes, and Emmys.

Remember when Call of Duty was just the name of a single game and not a huge bloated franchise? Simpler times, better times.

When it was an amazing game and not synonymous with mediocrity and doing the same tired shit over and over again? Just like madden

I never owned an Xbox or any kind of computer that could run games when I was growing up, so I never played KotOR. I saw that it was on sale on Steam a while back so I decided to give it a try. I can't say that I was too impressed. Perhaps because it is a 20 (almost) year old game, but I didn't find it to be that enthralling. Although, I did finish it, and that is more than I can say about 90% of the games I play. In fact, I got KoTOR 2 and started a guy. Although, the last time I played it was about two weeks ago... I don't know if I will pick it up again.

6:39 Seeing a Madden game winning a Best Sports Game award is funny considering that the Madden games of the modern era have been lazy and wouldn't even get nominated if there was a Best Sports Game award in 2020 (since there were very few sports games in 2020).

XIII should have at least been nominated

KOTOR's "choice" system was simplistic and restrictive, and the game was annoyingly glitchy, especially in combat. Even so, it was a really good game, especially for a franchise that had few good games up to that point. i'd give it a 4 out of 5, but i'd still award it the RPG OTY trophy.
