I saw another guy with a templar change the chain guide at bottom rear of chain. He says the plastic one is loud and rattles, the new one is silent. Check that out

You are correct. It the chain guides on the swing arm and the sprocket guide that are the source of noise. They're too hard.

@ Nah I'm from MD... thinking about buying property in PA or WV so I can ride. MD is very strict with dirt bike laws. Closest legal area I can ride is about a 1.5 - 2hr car ride and about $75 a day
