I think i can run the field/park mode in 15khz on the freshwater beach here in Michigan.... I will find out. Ordered X-Terra Pro today from Bass Pro Shops. Gonna be here April 3😀

The higher the frequency the smaller micro pieces of metal I find. I’m wondering if that’s why u was finding tiny pieces of aluminum cuz of running high frequency

I don't know if it's just me, but when I watched you test out the Simplex lite, you seemed to have found WAY better stuff than with this more expensive X-terra pro. I am thinking of getting the Vanquish 540, but keep bouncing from that one to the Simplex lite AND now this xterra-pro. I'd be a beginner at the hobby, and wonder what your thoughs would be?

I just took my new xterra out yesterday. wasnt impressed. You're right its all over the place on the numbers and target. I have a couple old Bounty Hunters,, an equinox 800 and now this xterra pro. I think my nox800 is still my fav. My wife is going to shoot me if I keep bringing home new detectors.

I believe that at the 2:17 mark of the video your machine gave you the AU screen. When moving through the different modes of searching you need to noise cancel and ground balance again. Then it will hopefully quiet down and stabilize the VDIs some. Have fun!

And I think that you have the sensitivity Up to 22 and That isn't needed for the beach and I have no beach here to try it out but I have mine at 12 Sensitivity and Park 1 and 15 frequency and -4 on the Iron, in the hidden features that are inside the X-Terra Pro program but I can't use the Full Sensitivity and 21-25 Is the full sensitivity....

I saw you ask about the VDI scale it's -19 to 0 for iron and then 0-99 for non ferrous 👍

Check out Fun With Jim. He's a California detectorist and hunts beaches with real big cuts. I think the West Coast beaches have major cuts in them.

And you will eventually find out that it's a joke of a detector and has a Emi problem and then the Tone's will start to be annoying to the ears and listen to anything Minelab and will change your mind to get a Minelab and I'm a Simplex owner and I have changed my mind about the Simplex + and will be going to A Minelab Detector's...... forever edit I Now have the X-Terra Pro and it's a Joy to be able to get back to the EMI Problem's Park's that the Simplex + couldn't handle and WoW 😲 I can Detect again and now my arms are hurting from the Not being able to go to the bigger park with the Simplex EMI Problem's Magnet Detector...... but I will have to get them back in to shape and the X-Terra Pro is a little bit lighter than the Simplex and it's a great day for me and the X-Terra Pro ❤️❤️❤️❤️

It's a good detector. Just make sure to update the software and watch all the videos about using it.

@@marktuyet there's no more Updates for the Simplex + per the email from Notka Macro Product's and basically told me that if there's a problem with the Simplex then I will have to make a video of the Simplex problem and send it to the tech center and possibly the whole detector if possible if the tech center couldn't figure out a good solution for the EMI Problem's that I'm having and I have done The frequency shift that they have told me to do and By the Notka Macro Product's saying that they have no more Updates and WHY ??? when this Simplex set up a great little detector war between the manufacturers and They have basically shelved the Simplex + and the hope that you will be buying their other Detectors and I guess that means my Warranty is Out and I can't use the Simplex At some Parks that have ALOT of EMI and it's totally dysfunctional and I keep waisting my gas trying to get to a place that I can Detect it and I'm not going a hundred miles away to detect with the gas prices still up and I have NOW just Bought the X-Terra Pro and less than a month ago and I still have some of the Simplex + great iron quarter Tone Targets that the Simplex said that I should be Diggin Up and the X-Terra Pro is giving me the Iron Grunts on the very same exact Targets and I have also changed the settings on the X-Terra Pro and some of the Iron Target's will not sound off and I couldn't do that with the Simplex + but I would just have to Dig it up to see if it was a quarter and also the All Metal Mode on the Simplex is ALOT of Buttons to push just to get there and the Simplex Ultra is a 6 button push from Field 1 to get the All Metal Mode or ALOT More time's that I have to push it to get there but the X-Terra Pro is a totally different Detector and it's a only A 1 button push to get to the All Metal Mode and that's too quickly question about what the target is and Is very much appreciated That Minelab has it on the just a little touch and I can check it out and go back to Detecting but the Simplex Ultra and the Simplex + At least 6 Programs that I have to scroll up just to check.... And if I was you I would be checking out the X-Terra Pro..... ❤️ And you can thank me later and keep the sensitivity down until you get to know what the detector is trying to get you to understand what's in the ground no matter what detector that is your using.....

I use my phone on a chest mount but sometimes will also use the Gopro at the same time... occasionally I'll go double chest mount, might not be the most efficient but it seems to work. 😂

After quest X10 this is not understandible and sliding vdi on some signal really disorientates nme, but i liked it, I hate adn like Xterra pro Could you pmease explain DP sound mode, I do not see differences between 5 All Sound and DP

Deep mode to Me is that the deeper the target is you will get a very light tone and the closer the target is too you It will a higher tone , kinda like a pinpointer will do when you get close to the target and really sounds Off And you can hear it on one of the Target's that he finds and he also uses the DP tone program in the video and you Do have a Pinpointer and It really does help find the target and I can remember when we didn't have a Pinpointer on the detector and the hand held pinpointer and realizing that there's gotta be a better way to find the target and the holes would be HUGE but not now and I pinpoint first and hand pinpoint then stick the shovel in the ground and have it found and off to the next target in less time than it Use to be at like 20 minutes just to find the target but with the new Detectors, it's amazing and you will find out that the Tone's of the Simplex + is ANNOYING.... LIKE I HAVE FOUND OUT MYSELF AND WILL BE GETTING A MINELAB SOON......

I have the Simplex, Equinox 600, Legend, Vanquish 440 and the X-tera pro. The X-tera pro, to me can out preform my other 4 detectors.

Had a vanquish 540 . Used it twice.. build quality naff. And so is the audio . Depth was good for a budget mschine. Simplex is just awful. .. cant comment on the nox 600 never used one.

Austin. Just SoYou know It Was me That asked rob on paparouse stream If he what's familiar with you. because I'm still fairly new and I thought that when. You use the larger coils That is because you want to go deeper but You Don't like to dig deep so I was confused as to why you would take the large coil on the beach if You didn't wanna go deep? And he said I was correct and yes he was familiar with you and that they're we're others that did the same exact thing with the large coil. But that was what we were discussing and not the amount of stuff you find Because it's all a crap shoot. No one knows how much they're going to find regardless of where You Go hunting.

Maybe the other way round? Not sure when the Nissan first appeared, but the first gen Minelab X-Terra’s were released back in 2006. Great general purpose VLF machine but didn’t handle the salt water too well 😂

Then David you need to look at the X-Terra Pro and I have it now and put the Simplex out to pasteur to get collecting Dust and you will like the X-Terra Pro and per the email from Notka Macro Product's that said that they have No MORE Updates for the Simplex + and have basically shelved the Simplex and that means My Warranty is Out 😢 and the X-Terra Pro is a totally different Detector and I'm going to Love 💕❤️ and I Had mastered the Simplex in 2 days and maybe 1 day if I didn't want to sleep but I like a good challenge to learn something that is New..... and the first time Minelab owner ❤❤❤......
