I know people use mac for the more stable OS, but there should be a more descriptive installation video for installing th firmware update for PC users also.

Disappointed that you only talked about sysex librarian, but not MIdiox. I downloaded midiOX, opened it up and didn't have a clue what to do with it. There are way more pc users than mac, so why concentrate on the mac side of it without doing a midiox walkthrough also ??

like half of my pieces of gear that are centered in Behringer... plenty of help on iOS, nothing on PC... I love you guys but here I go again, looking to forums and wasting time to update another piece of gear...in this case my new X-Touch...I also JUST BOUGHT an x32 Rack... I really pray that it's plug and play or easy to setup... God please, let it be easy to do...

I always enjoy your videos. You have a great style and you represent a great product line. I just received my X-Touch a short time ago for use with Logic Pro X. This is the most fun you can have with your clothes on! I followed your setup tips in a different video for use with Logic Pro and the setup was literally instantaneous. I am amazed by the added functionality it offers for my use with Logic Pro. I love the way I can press one button and have all of my tracks shift from 1-8 over to 9-16 and then 17-24 and so on. Very cool. Thanks for the work you do. Behringer is fortunate to have you.

FYI, my X-Touch display only went up to "56" when updating to V1.15 using Sysex Librarian on Mac. So, I don't think the display is necessarily the percent of the upload, eh?

+John Baker That's correct, that number on the display is not a percentage of completion when updating the firmware on your X-TOUCH.

Can confirm, updated our X-Touch with a Windows PC to 1.15 using SendSX... display read "56" when it finished sending the upload file. Odd to need to install 3rd party software to simply update a firmware? An executable or Disk iMaGe file out of the budget?

Updated this to V1.15 and now I keep getting the "Pro Tools is unable to communicate with HUI error message and can't get this thing working with my Mac again. I've e-mailed you guys twice now and haven't gotten a response...

Is there a way to update the firmware on a Linux computer?

Possibly, there might be a Linux based MIDI program like MIDI OX or Sysex Librarian. We just aren't aware of any such software. Maybe someone else here can chime in with some answers?
