@@dumpsockpuppet5619 In the sense that Model X can do quite a lot of damage per charged shot, you're right. However, Model X lacks the mobility of Model HX and the stun of Model ZX. If you REALLY know Omega's pattern, then no other biometal melts his health faster. If you don't know his pattern well, or if you make a mistake, you get punished hard.

The way they put Nightmare Zero for me is just beautiful and so unfair, I mean the Zero Busters, the wave Slash, and the MachineGun Busters shooted at full power, followed by those Gigantic Slash Waves, Daaaaamn!! I wished we could at least, play with a Zero using all that extra (not extra) skills, I mean basically since MMx2 and MMx3, that Zero uses his Z-buster with the z-saber perfectly balanced

@@MA16v3 I find it a very interesting remix. Every fanmade one is always fast, techno and/or metal. The MvCI version sounds slow, hesitant, yet powerful and heavy. Like someone is holding back, and the other isn't truly fighting.

@@matthewwilliams8267 I get that from the mix, but that just isn't what a fight between X and Zero is. X and Zero are unbelievably powerful and efficient combat machines that outperform models made even hundreds of years after their deployment. Were either of them, with their autonomy, to decide humanity and reploids should be destroyed, there honestly isn't a whole lot that can be done to stop them. When X and Zero fight, it is because one believes the other is a threat, not just to themselves, but to the whole world. It is a fight neither of them want, but it is a situation they would have to take extremely seriously, since realistically, it would take one to stop the other. They fight not just to subdue, but to hopefully change them before one of them dies. It is an epic fight that had been teased for several games between two characters we don't want to see fractured. While X5 is a deeply, deeply flawed game, the payoff was perfect. As a track that plays primarily when they fight, it just does not work in any other form outside of this epic, glorious, yet desperate melody. A fight like X vs Zero was a rare scenario for the time, if not unprecedented, and got exactly the score it deserved. You could use a slower or more restrained mix as a leitmotiff for buildup or whatever, but the implementation in MvCI for combat just underwhelms in a way that really killed my desire to play MvCI(I know it doesn't seem like a good reason, but that really is what did it in for me). I wanted Capcom to really go bananas with this and instead they held so much back. That said, that's the musical identity of MvCI anyway. I honestly can't see how it could have been different. A proper(my opinion) remix would have sounded incredibly out of place. I may still add it since I know how to play Marvel fighting games, plus I really want to redo all these fights since I have a much better recording method now, so we'll see. If it isn't obvious, I think the song is probably the best individual score to ever leave a Capcom composer's studio and by a very wide margin. I still get pumped, without fail, every time I listen to it, without fail. I also think Zero 3, and ZX were missed opportunities to revisit the track properly, but eh.

@@MA16v3 I personally think it fits. X is hesitant, probably because he remembers X5, and knows this isn't really Zero. Zero himself is fighting internally, against the Grandmaster, and is intentionally not fighting at full power. But they're both trying to end this quickly, end each other with little pain. It feels more...somber, like they both hate this fight, or don't WANT to fight.

Yes! Pretty sure it uses the X4 color scheme compared to the X5 color scheme. Through all of the X games, Ultimate Armor has a different sprite palette/design

When he fires it off, it automatically targets under your foot, so all you have to do is: 1. Walk forwards/backwards 2. Jump over Zero’s head and hover (if you have an armor that’s able to hover) because he will never shoot it under himself 3. Calculate where it’s gonna hit and dodge by jumping in the air (which is what I do because it makes the fight cooler/harder)
