@@camellia1942 just a reminder that the X powerups were intended to be part of X initially, but Dr Light got scared of X's potential because of his free will, so he hid the armors in the capsules and left X those messages in case he was as he hoped he would be. Think about it, it's not like Dr Light is around, so he had to have made the armors during his lifetime, so those are not really powerups, it's just retrieving his old power. Zero on the other hand is basically fully decked out from the start because Wily doesn't give a flying F.

If you fight with Maverick Zero too long, Zero will perform Gemmu Zero. Which will make him unable to take any damage from X and launches double giga slash that can insta kill you but cannot be dodged.

While Awakaned Zero hits harder and his buster is replaced by those rings (and also that you have a time limit of about 2 minutes before he instant-kills you), if you use the exploits of his normal version, you'll notice that the fight is still easily lame, on the other hand Ultimate Armor X fight is a little bit harder (not that it matters since you can defeat X pretty fast anyway) as there are (kinda) no exploits to even do a easy no damage fight.

I gotta say, I don't get why this scenario was reserved only for the bad ending. Narrative wise is much more impactful having to fight Zero in his original state as Sigma did, with the W in the background showing this is what Wily made him for. Much more serious than the married couple squable that the good ending route is. Even the opening hypes the hell out of that "eyes opening sequence"... dunno, it was a weird choice, I know it would have disrupted the flow if you had played solely as Zero until that moment only to lose him, but I would have been ok with you recovering him afterwards, maybe even giving you his Black Zero form for the final stage if you fulfilled certain criteria like beating all the mavericks with him.

There's a easier way to do this. Just Jump over ZeR0 going from left to right. His a.i. will break and he'll only do dashing punches instead of what he normally does here. But, remember that he MUST be whipped in 3 minutes or he'll start using genmurei on you.

The single thing that annoys me about x5 is when you find the secret area with the ultimate armour/black zero upgrade and hop into the capsule it instantly equips zero with black armour, but x hops in and has to leave the stage to equip it??? Armour pieces equipped automatically in x4, ultimate armour cheat equipped automatically in x4 when hopping into capsule, but in x5 tou have to leave the level and join back in??? WHY!!

I always thought X and Zero can see the Sigma Virus because the virus itself have a physical form, but I guess that's not the case? Well for Zero I think they can see his awakened state, because in some dialogue X says: "your readings are the same but I feel a greater evil coming inside you" my theory is the hunters can detect the Sigma Virus and by default they know it's evil, but with zero is different for being the zero patient of the virus..... Based on the recently uncovered Megaman story by Capcom: -Zero was the definitive creation by Dr. Willy. Born from the 'Zero Virus' research. -Dr. Light creates X, but unlike Zero, it required body parts to become deadly, and gave it 'feelings'. -Dr. Willy, Dr. Light, Megaman (not X), and most characters from the Megaman games are single handedly killed by Zero awakened (X4 Zero flashbacks). -Sigma was a reploid, created by Dr. Cain and was sent to investigate, got infected and went berserk. A new Sigma Virus emerges. -Zero Awakened destroys Sigma, then gets infected by Sigma Virus, Zero becomes 'good', then goes berserk because of the flashbacks (later seen in X4), then seals itself in a capsule. -X1 events take place. Thus: -X can't read Zero as data -Sigma can read partially Zero as data, but needs research from others across the board. -Zero can fully read Sigma, Sigma Virus and X as data (he knows X needs capsules to evolve, later in X1 intro) -Zero recovers Health Points from Sigma Virus and does nothing as opposed to X which takes damage. -Zero Awakened (X5) explains all of this. Note: Inti Creates' developers really loved the Megaman franchise, and requested Capcom to do Megaman Z/ZX series. These originally meant to resume X5 events where Zero goes missing, then X finally becomes a benevolent dictator, gains absolute control by ensuring world peace, then goes mad (you'd notice X tends to overthink across X series). Then Zero revives and must kill his friend. But Capcom both released X6 and ordered Inti Creates to instead, change X into Copy X, a copy of the original X. I can see Capcom reasoning in there. By ending the series as something so cliche would destroy past and future games they'd make. Also Megaman and X backstory connections are on a league of its own as opposed to Inti Creates side story. IIRC Inafune himself said storywriting for X games was a real difficult task.

Charly :D Creo que describes la cutscene donde Zero en vez de mostrarse cubriendo a X se muestra apuntando su Z-Buster contra Sigma y luego aparece de pie, eso pasa cuando peleas con el Zero normal, según entiendo ésta es la pelea contra el Maverick Zero.

It's more fun to beat up X with ZeR0. Just use twin dream from a distance and zap him with denjin and burn him with danchien. What and what? Zero's soul body and thunder blade moves. Then the floor burner .

To fight Maverick Zero, simply don't clear all 8 maverick stages within the allotted time. You use 1 time notch every time you leave or clear a mission. So if you don't clear the 8 stages within your allowed returns, you won't get to play as Zero anymore, but the Zero Virus stages open up despite not clearing all 8 of those stages.

Play all bad + good ending=> conclusion: zero always stronger than x even x have ultimate armor. Because when the fight is over, zero always wake up first... Love zero
