I was pretty sure the diamond symbol is the command upgrade symbol, hence the separate section for "command crew" in the list of cards it comes with. So I'm assuming that each epic ship will have a "command" slot to allow for one of these to put on it.

@@HairyNick Pretty sure it's a Command upgrade symbol, which is referred to in all the huge ship articles and in the card lists. So a Wing commander would have a Command slot and something like Ozzel takes a Command slot and a Crew slot. If it was an epic points symbol surely it would be marked differently in the card iconography, not as if it were an upgrade slot.

Guys you missed the big ones STRESS and FOCUS. Epics never suffered stress and could not focus now both effect them. The dials on the previous articals showed blue white and red. Now with focus plus target lock they will be much better at modifying their results if you don't jam them.one of the biggest downsides in 1.0 was loads of guns that could not hit anything now with extra abilities they could monsters.

Been reading some of the Epic play rules and it seems to have a few marked differences from the 1.0 version. Will be interesting to see how the new dynamic will fit into the overall theme of 2.0 with the gameplay focused on ship movement and flight tactics. On a side note I'm very much expecting to see the LAAT Gunship for the Republic as a large ship and the HMP Droid Gunship for Separatists and I suspect both will play very similar in game terms.

Agreed. A little while back I mentioned the LAAT and a good chunk of the comment section shouted me down for suggesting an in-atmosphere ship. However, it DOES fly in space in the Clone Wars series. :)

@@HairyNick lol, yes I imagine the fan boys would shout you down BUT it is canon and the LAAT performs better than the MG 100 in space! I only hope when they release it, the firing arcs won't be ridiculously hard to dodge....maybe make the rear arc a bullseye only? And give the HMP just double turrets.👍

I hate being negative in my videos, but micro-transactions are such a horrible blight on the gaming industry. Mad props to the Devs at EA who put FFG's ship in the game, tho.

"Bombardment" Specialist could be a Major Rhymer (the TIE bomber pilot) like effect. His ability: "While you perform a [Torpedo] or [Missile] attack, you may increase or decrease the range requirement by 1, to a limit of 0-3." The Huge ship and Epic range ruler does reach out to range 5.

C-ROC's Initiative is also 7/1 so it looks to me like the "smaller" huge ships will activate before the larger ones (currently Corvettes).

If FFG want her as a crew for standard ships, they shouldn't put in her in a huge ship pack (otherwise we can only get her in an epic expansion), so perhaps she is a planned crew member in a standard expansion or card pack.
