X.WST3 TUTORIAL - INSTALL X-COM3

Does the X-COM3 have a detachable 3.5mm jack cable for the speakers? Was hoping I could use my ear plugs with them. If not, are there any possibilities of mounting a Cardo edge on the helmet?

@FatBiscuitYT good morning. All universal intercoms - other than the X.COM3 and X.COM3 PRO - (which by default are adaptable to the internal cavity) must be applied externally to the helmet. You then have the possibility of passing the wires inside, where there is space for the speakers, which are approximately 4mm. However, we recommend that you always test it first, in-store, at the time of purchase. Thanks

My Xcom3 has a serious problem, the music plays ok but when i receive phone calls i can' t hear anything. I have try everything in the manual, reset but nothing solves.

@ByBiel_OF hi good morning. We ask you to verify if the Audio overlay management is enable. You can do it either through Sena Motorcycles app or through the Device Manager. Please check the instructions in attachment “How to enable Audio overlay management” and let us know if this has solved the problem. Thanks

My Xcom 3 does not power up anymore. I have used it for a couple of times after mounting it on my WST 3 , and suddenly it went off. No matter how I tried to power it on again it simply won't. Before it went off it was 50 % on its battery. Now it doesn't even charge nor connect to my PC. Any help would be highly appreciated!

@madhater3034 yes, go or contact the store where you purchased your X.COM3 and report the situation, as it is under warranty. This is the procedure: all warranty-related complaints should be lodged at the NEXX Helmets distributor or retailer where the intercom was acquired. In order for the warranty-related complaint to be considered, you must notify the Store about the problem, presenting the proof of purchase document / original receipt. The NEXX Helmets warranty provides a guarantee to the first buyer that a defective product shall be replaced or repaired free of charge.

TIP 1: Do not put the speaker directly on the sticker, use the pad in the kit. It comes in two sizes - thin and thick. Use the thick one to bring the earbud closer to your ear - otherwise the music will sound super bad. TIP 2: When you put on the helmet with the speakers already installed play some music and try twisting your helmet left to right and vice versa. If the music starts to sound better when moving, it means that your ear was not falling directly on the center of the hole. Correct the position and shift by offset between the speaker and the padding until when putting on the helmet, the most "central" and loud music sound is heard. I can't understand why NEXX instead of going out of their way to explain the options and show details in the cable routing in X-COM3 installation they chose to show a super short video as if we were dumb down kids on TikTok and not going to watch instructions longer than 10 seconds. I have put X-COM, X-COM2 but X-COM3 took me the most time.

Otra vez he sudado sangre para poner el intercom. Otra vez aquí parece fácil pero para nada, hay partes donde se pasa el cable que el enganche esta apegado al casco y he tenido que separarlo con la funda de un boli BIC mientras con la otra mano pasaba el cable. También hay cables que sobran 1 o 2 centímetros y no se especifica donde debería dejar el sobrante. Sinceramente por lo que cuesta esperaba un montaje mucho mas fácil.

@@NEXX-HELMETS yes i did but with a lot of difficulty. I thought it will be very easy as you designed the helmet and the intercom so it should fit perfectly. Also now i'm having issues with the pinlock as it hits the rubber of the helmet when it opens. I sent and email a week ago but without any response yet : /
