Thank you so much. I spent hours watching all your videos on X17 and ended up spending lots of money buying myself the family planning bundle. I am super excited and now feel like I know everything there is to know, thanks to your detailed explanations. I think for Christmas, I will ask my husband to buy me the Cognac leather cover. 🙂

An excellent choice, glad I could help. You'll love it, the leather is amazing. I have stopped the channel, but I'm happy to learn my videos are still watched.

You are the first one ever to talk about the differences in thickness between A7, A6, A5 and A4! And the availability of this new paper quality! This was very informative! Great work! It's nice to see that they have upped their game in paper quality. I'm a fountain pen user and am fussy about paper quality. My only problem is that their products are almost inexistant on the north american market (I'm in Canada). Maybe I should get in touch with them to open this huge market for them. Their products are truly outstanding (I have a few already).

Thanks Louis. I think it was interesting to mention because it speaks about the precision with which they address their products. Also the fact that they took fountain pen users into account. Choosing insert papers is not easy. When you choose paper for fountain pen lovers, graphite pen users will be disappointed and vice versa. Definitely get in touch with them, they are very nice available people.

By the way, tell me which ones you have and love!

@@johnsparegrave5996 I have two of the X17 A5 belgium veg tanned leather (really love this leather!). One is cognac and the other is chestnut. Both are 3 inserts. I also have another X17 A5 3 inserts Lefa blue (had doubts but was curious about this leather and was very happily surprised!). The only "one" thing that I don't like about this brand is that their A5s are NOT the standard A5 as they are narrower and I have to cut the inserts I buy for them. Well I HAD to buy inserts as their paper was of poor quality for fountain pens. But I might have to explore their new paper. And I also have the A6 Mind Papers cover (and paper refills) in veg tanned cognac. I believe this is a very smart tool! I'm going to be using this great tool for mind maps and as speech aids that I will recommend to my (future) students. And their Mind Papers are fountain pen friendly!

@@riseandinspire We seem to have the same taste in colours and indeed their Belgium leathers are truly amazing though the Italian ones (the ones that look like the lefas but in a higher end leather) are nice too. As to the paper, do indeed give it a try because I didn't like the other paper with my fountain pens and the new Lumex makes a huge improvement with them. It is smoother and holds the ink much better with less showthrough.

@@johnsparegrave5996 Indeed your demonstration of the paper was convincing. The only problem is having their stock shipped to Canada. Costs and time involved make no sense compared to the competition. That's why I don't understand that they don't yet have set themselves up to distribute their great products in North America. I'd be curious to learn why?

i have a question about the inserts, if you could help please? On the website, they indicate that the inserts (eg lined), have 64 pages. Is that really 64 pages, or 64 sheets (therefore 128 pages)? What is the last numbered page on the eg, lined notebook? Thank you kindly!
