Your receipt/repair ticket should state repairs done. Green corrosion is a sign that something spilled on it like juice. Its possible they changed no parts, may have been something very minor if anything at all which is why they didnt want to inform you. When i did repairs in the 90's there was a $27.50 minimum charge that was clearly stated and explained before we accepted an item for repair, in a few cases the problem was 'Operator Error' speakers connected to wrong connections, wrong inputs--

mute button on, etc... I still thoroughly tested the equipment, but if no parts were needed then all they paid was the $27.50.. That softened the blow wyen you tell them nothing was wrong but we tested it anyway and cleaned the controls. Maybe your tech is afraid you'll refuse to pay if you found out that nothing was needed. Its kinda late now for a complaint to your techs, but check your receipt.
