I'm using a Roland VR4 Video switcher to send audio to the Aux In of the X32 Rack. The source of the audio is coming from a computer which is plugged into the video switcher via HDMI. I'm using the audio out which is RCA from the switcher to the Aux In on the X32. When the fader is raised a screech sound happens.

So can i use AUX outs for livestreaming to a computer? if not how can i livestream sound from board to computer? (this would be for a church)

finally a video that explains this... can you go more in-depth about aux out routing... I'm having trouble on my x32 producer sending to headphone and we only got one headphone out
@behringer6 жыл бұрын
Hi there! If I'm understanding your question correctly, you are looking to include more headphones into your setup. If his is the case, then just remember that each AUX OUT is a MONO signal. This means that if you are looking to use more headphones with your setup, then you would more that likely need to use two AUX OUTS to feed over to the STEREO input of a headphone amplifier, such as the HA8000: www.musictribe.com/Categories/Behringer/Signal-Processors/Headphone-Amplifiers/HA8000-V2/p/P0BRU I hope this helps!

@@behringer The manual for X32 lists the 1/4" aux outputs as TRS jacks. Doesn't this allow for stereo sends? Edit: nevermind, I'm dense today: I just realized they're balanced outputs.

I'm trying to find out how to control the level of the aux outs. Not mentioned here.
@WDesertForce6 жыл бұрын
Something that you didn't mention - the Aux outs and the XLR outs are not level-matched (even when using balanced connectors) even though both are referred to as line level outputs.

Hi Chris! Good point! Thanks for bringing that up. I'll keep that in mind for future videos ;)

Hello, I wanted to know if you guys can help me understand why I'm getting a humming sound thru the aux outs when I plug it to my switcher blackmagic Atem mini? The humming is not coming out in any of our monitors or main speakers. I tried all the auxiliaries and still getting the humming. I'm currently using the RCA stereo to a 3.5 headphone to input sound into the switcher. If you can watch our church lates broadcast just so you can understand what I'm trying to explain. Thank you very much for your time and help.

How do I get certain channels to the aux out so that I can use it with another outboard mixer?
@JustinMoralesTheComposer4 жыл бұрын
I'm gonna try this tonight, but i believe if you pointed aux 1/2 to Bus 1/2 (or another open bus) on the Aux Out routing tab, you could send each channel that you want to hear to bus 1/2. I'll come back here later and comment if that works
@JustinMoralesTheComposer4 жыл бұрын
It did work btw. I went to the "Aux Out" tab of the "Routing" page and assigned - aux 5 and 6 - to - bus 9 and 10. Now when i send a channel to Bus 9 it goes to aux 5 and Bus 10 goes to Aux 6. I'm sending to floor monitors tho, not and an outboard mixer. I had to crank the send on that channel so it might be better to use the XLR outs - the signal may come out hotter and those are already routed to buses LR IIRC.

is there a way to record the aux inputs through the usb expansion card to a computer? We just bought a x32 Rack and will not use additional inputs so its just the 16 xlr inputs and the 6 aux inputs. I know how to route them to our p16 units but We would like to record all the inputs on the computer. In Reaper I only see the 32 chanels. (edit: Allready found a solution by updating to V4 and using user routing slots)

@@behringer guys please, is there a plan to produce a new mix console as a continuer of X/M32 series? Years people are waiting, the are a lot of photoshop-made fake mix consoles out there. I know you probably wont answer on this comment...but as I see different companies produce they new stuff (Presonus, Allen Heath, etc.) I hope that music group will once a gain rule the scene with something amazing :) 96khz, more digital I/O on the board, better preamps and ADDA, new FX rack, update internal channel strip, maybe more mixbusses...Im looking forward for the future !! :)

I have no information on any plans to produce a new mixer as a continuation of the X/M32 series. However, we are always looking forward for the future, and we absolutely appreciate your continued support for our products. Thank you!

Does the RCA 5 and 6 follow the phono 5 and 6? In other words, what I have routed to 5 and 6 will also affect the RCA 5 and 6 correct? No way to route these 5 and 6 separately?
@behringer6 жыл бұрын
Hi RAM RAM! You are correct. The RCA 5 and 6 cannot be separated from the 1/4" 5 and 6. They will receive the same output signal.
