Glad to see this as ive been needing to make the same upgrade for this game id be intrested to see how the map lag handles with the upgrade do you happen to have any footage of that ? Also are you a Hotas user? Or any other Peripherals?

Thank god someone finally benchmarking what matters in this game: Combat Scenarios. I'm currently running the game with a 3700x and it runs v poorly in combat scenarios, that's also why I stopped playing. Wanted to upgrade to maybe a 5800x3d or 5700x3d, was even considering swapping to the AM5 platform with a 7800x3d but the price is heavy and I don't want to install an AIO or WC to cool the chip. Still looking for Combat benchmarks with those 2 cpus but can't seem to find anything. People are just benchmarking empty space or the big station and it doesn't mean anything.

Hey im also running a 3700x. im fairly new to the game (170hrs). may i ask what is a big battle?!

the x3d cpus dont need AIO, if you check the video you can see they consume less watts than the regular cpus. 45 watts, with a single tower heatsink is more than enough, but i recommend the thermalrights dual tower for 35 bucks.

I play lots of x4 and other demanding games. Planning to upgrade to an 7800x3d and 4090 combo within a month or two. I wonder if x4 will still have low fps. I'm guessing it won't help as much as I hope, but its not the only game I play. Planning to get a new vr headset this year as well.

since the GPU is sitting well bellow 50% usage, sometimes bellow 20% usage, that shouldnt affect the performance.

@@atretador2452 shows 50% because is running a 1500mhz (because low load), when normal frecuency operation is 2400mhz, at that frecuency the % should be less than 20%
