I bought this and actually really like it. I have no issues with lag or bad sound. The screen is perfectly fine, I think people are just being overly picky. Obviously it isn’t going to look like your 55” tv screen with a Switch hooked up to it, but I have no problem seeing what’s on the screen. Resolution is exactly like the systems themselves, no worse. The controls are not terrible like some people say, they are fine. For something that has literally every game at the price it is, it’s pretty good. The people that are complaining are just hard to please lol.

any idea what its specs are ? guessing its basically a low powered computer of some sort running some OS I'm not familiar with but hoping it has an ok multicore cpu, ram and gpu to run other lightweight OSes like linux or android etc just bought one as my first purchase on Temu, hopefully not crap otherwise it'll be my last.

Michelle Fernandez I think some people are just super picky. I bought this thing and I have no complaints. Nothing wrong with the controls or screen or sound. There’s not even an issue with the L and R buttons in an awkward spot because the games don’t even use those buttons

By the sound when you pushed the top buttons R and L, it seems the internal key is a kind of push button. This is very bad because they have a very short life. But I think it is a good device by its price.

Yep..agreed..I've got the Retro fc 168 in 1...and although it only plays knockoff nes games and homebrews..it does it well..makes more sense than a bunch of emulators that play laggy screen tearing 16 bit and 32 bit games..specs

Just bought 2 of these for my nephews at $17 ea. Had a older X6 which I enjoyed so hoping these will be as good. The main thing I dislike about these are the battery life, but considering you can play a few PS1 roms without issues, I think they’re great

@@thierypaudet6056 I don’t remember if it came with it, but I do remember it’s not hard to add it. You just find and download the rom then drag it in the device’s game folder. For GBA type games, that’s all you have to do, no special emulator or any set up needed. Same I think with sega, snes, and a few ps1 roms, but they all have to be in a specific format as the device doesn’t run them all. For example, think ps1 roms were .bin. You could always download the same rom in different formats to test which one works too

We used to operate a small arcade before, we only have three cabinets. And one of the game is Cadillac and dinosaurs, so when I see some of reviews about those Chinese clones, Cadillac and dinosaurs are always present in those systems. it reminded me of the noise kids makes, the arcade button clicks and hard punches on the buttons, the laughter, the cussing, the sounds the weekly bags of coins. Yeah men, I also have a clone system with this game on it, but it only support cps1, gba, supernintendo, and playstation 1 on a very slow performance even on 2d games. I dont know how to save games there if it save at all. The console looks like a psone but black, it supports original playstation controller. The console's name is GAMARS game console, maybe you have reviewed it, im almost certain its from China.

Hopefully they'll come out with a console that'll play n64 , ps1 and PSP games without lagging issues . The x9 2020 is out I wonder if it's just the same software, it does claim to have 30000 in built games.

Its just an attempt to cash in on the switch, using old clone ps vita hardware. I would put up with the bad buttons though if it played ps1 games. imagine how awesome it would be! thanks again wicked.

I have a portable gaming console I got from China through EBay and the display is quite wonky. If you look at it straight on, it's like a bad 3D. If you hold it 90-degrees though and look at the screen, it's quite good. Near as I can figure they put the grain wrong for the screen and were happy some unlucky chump such as myself bought it. Possibly that is what you're experiencing in this console. Hold it 90 degrees and see if the screen is easier to view. Also "3 Wonders" is a MAME game and one of my favorites so yes, apparently this console runs MAME. Nice !

He should test with more demanding MAME/FBA arcade games than just CPS1 & NeoGeo. TMNT 1&2, Splatterhouse, Aliens, R-Type Leo, Battletoads, Two Crude, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 & NARC are some of my favorite go-to's. CPS1, CPS2, & NeoGeo already run pretty well on PSP, even.

You can add more games. The version I got came with 500 optional games mostly NES & GBA. (you can delete these) and about 130 neo-geo/mame games. The titles repeat up to 3,000 files. (maybe different variants)
