Watching the departure of Casillas brought me to tears, the way he was treated after spending 20 years at that club was nothing like anybody would have expected from a club like Real. one morning in 2009 i was having breakfast before going to school while watching news about xabi's move to real madrid, as a liverpool fan it made me sad for a whole month. i still think it was Benitez's fault. i really thought he would spend his career in Liverpool until he became at least 31 years old. he's definitely one of my favorite players who ever played for liverpool, his retirement is indeed a great loss for FC Bayern for what he still can do if he still played for Bayern now. thank you, Xabi for the Liverpool years YNWA
