Notice how this version of the battle has 20k+ more views than Wu’s version. Really puts into perspective which one is better. Don’t get me wrong, Wu did a pretty neat job, especially with the maze, but this executes that sense of desperation so well. Liu Bei is out there, and could potentially be near death. The BGM, Salvation, fits in this stage the most, out of all the time used in all story mode. I almost wished they kept the same music during Zhuge Liang’s portion.

I love Liu Bei, but Zhuge Liang will always be my fave Shu character in these games. His calm attitude and always keeping control is just a fascinating character trait to me. Especially in the Warriors Orochi games. I love how he played Da Ji.

Liu Bei's death in DW7/XL is better than the one Cao Cao had. Both are bedridden but you can see the former in pain before dying. Cao Cao on the other hand died not even lying on the bed fully. What the heck was that?

You usually don't choose the position you die in. Also, Cao Cao had his illness for almost 20 years, by that time he was already used to it, I think.

I though Zhao Yun and Zhuge Liang has 3rd Musou Attack on ground, that's why DW7 and DW7XL is the Prototype version of DW8XL CE (no cloning move set weapons)

I believe every character in DW8 and Xtreme Legends have an additional 3rd musou attack when they level up. Of course, it could be a R1 attack or an aerial musou depending on the character.

There is no musou mode in Xtreme Legends. XL is an expansion and you can only play the musou modes by having the base DW7 game and using the Mixjoy feature.
