Kobo has GREAT tone, a good ear for musicality, and a very sweet, warm voice... But as someone who's been singing in choir since I was in elementary school, grew up around decent musicians, and sang acapella/amateur musicals through college, I'd have to give Gura the edge. Gura's innate musicality, rhythm, vocal control, and ear for pitch are straight MONSTROUS, especially within her musical niche. I will say that Kobo is more flexible and creative as a singer than Gura, though.

The following is a serious answer to a semi-jocular question because the phenomenon is actually really cool: It’s probably just the speed - spoken speed is generally significantly faster than sung speed. Because you get more time to hear it when sung your brain is able to better handle the information. The good news is that if you want to be able to appreciate the flow of the language when they’re speaking, the solution is to watch them more ;) Having said that, given that this is ID, it could also just straight up be a different language.

Eh, I wouldn't call it 'dialect' because they were definitely speaking in Indonesian, it's just that they used the colloquial, day-to-day, slang-filled Indonesian.. The Indonesian Kobo and Reine were speaking however, is commonly and exclusively spoken by people in the capital region, Jakarta. (you could fly to a different island and you would hear almost an entirely different Indonesian being used.) Probably not the best explanation, but hope this helps!
