This is how extreme goth metal was meant to sound: Beautiful and heartfelt.
@mushroommagic16973 жыл бұрын
This is symphonic metal, gothic metal is darker, those genres is so easy to confuse them because they are alomst similar. (tristania, veil of secrets, the sins of thy beloved, katatonia, first album of within temptation, draconian, swallow the sun, theatre of tragedy.) Some examples of gothic metal bands.

lol nice try, this is not EXTREME Gothic Metal. 'tis need to be fast paced, lots of harsh vocals to be "Extreme". You are the one who's try'na be "Extreme" here...

The most beautiful piece of heavy music I heard since Tarja had left Nightwish. The voice in this song is far more than amazing. Gorgeous song.

24 hours ago I commented on this song by Xandria, calling it; "Beautiful...." It is so much more than simply "Beautiful?" "Epic", "Moving", "Strong" "Sorrowful?" I have yet to find a term that the piece deserves...
@MrNewo12310 жыл бұрын
Maria Lannister Hi Maria! Yes. "Forevermore" is indeed "Gracefully-Beautiful...." How wonderful to have a composition that one is familiar with reawaken something new within one's self on any given evening. Such is the case with this piece earlier in the week. Xandria is filled with masterful work and though I understand their to be some fractures within the band their library to this point seldom disappoints. Hope you are staying dry! Love the PNW Winters (Truly I do). Shalom! Nathan ~

Maria Lannister Hi Maria, while I wish Manuela Kraller all the best I was disappointed to know of her leaving the band. (There seems to be a common theme these last several years with bands transitioning to new singers!). I like Xandria's commitment to stay true to their sound (Of course it has matured....) regardless of the singer. In all honesty I haven't done much of the new release but am excited to hear how Diane Van G. will do as time passes. (She's Dutch so we know that's a step in the right direction!). Oh, I ordered a T-shirt and Hoody from Floor yesterday (Revamp). Very cool art work. I hear the new NIGHTWISH is getting rave reviews in it's infancy. I am so darned excited to hear what magic "The Wizard" (TH) and Marco and the rest of the band have sculpted for us. I watched an interview with TH where he mentioned that the longest Nightwish composition will be on this album? Perhaps a two CD set? I am a true Pacific North-Westerner at heart and love this weather too. Our best to the kids. Only 5 months to go before warm weather is back! My wife just returned from a visit to MN where it was -5F. Ouch. Shalom , Nathan ~

AK is beautiful. I spent time in my youth in Skagway, Anchorage, Sitka, etc. Never was afforded the chance to venture further East or North. If "life" was different for our family I'd seriously consider homesteading in AK. To escape the current woes of society sounds enticing. Since we cannot move away we choose to stay and affect a change in our community. I must say Maria that your AK plan sounds grand! For some reason I believe you, your hubby and kids have a positive impact wherever you are! Shalom, N ~

I know exactly what you mean. Ever since I found this band just over a month ago, they have quickly become one of my favourites and I have also run out of adjectives with witch to describe their epic greatness in every song I listen to. I think beautiful does describe this song pretty well though.
@MrNewo12310 жыл бұрын
I understand the frustration with the limited adjectives within the English language by which to speak appreciation of "Experience's..." Music that embraces our being and inspires thought, creates emotion, or allows us a respite from this worlds toil cannot be rightly summed up in one word... Yet we present out offering of praise as best we can...
@khairkhalid61989 жыл бұрын
The progression is very good as if the melody tells a story. Definitely one of Xandria's best piece.
@JohnAMThompson11 жыл бұрын
This is one unbelievable song. Very "Epic" in so many ways. I'm so glad I stumbled onto this and have now listened to most of Xandria. After I hear Forevermore I say to myself, Wow! I wish I could write music and songs like this. This inspires me!

Miguel Lucena it's actually gothic rock
@gothicgolos6 жыл бұрын
No, it's not. Gothic rock is a post-punk genre. Gothic rock is like Sisters of Mercy or Fields of the Nephilim. This, however, is Symphonic metal. This is the same genre that Nightwish, Leaves Eyes and Epica belong to.

I listened to most of Xandria discography. But you don't seem to have ever listened to Gothic rock. This is a very different genre. Xandria shares the genre with Nightwish, Epica, Leaves Eyes and Therion. The genre is called Symphonic metal. Gothic rock sounds like this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jH6yZHuCr8RkipY Symphonic metal sounds like this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/raDbiGhol8ehZsU

Neverworld’s End is the fifth studio album by German Symphonic Metal & Power Metal Band Xandria. The Album was released by Napalm Records on 24 February 2012. It is the only album to feature Manuela Kraller on vocals, and the last album to feature Nils Middlehauve on Bass. Their Producer is Marco Heubaum. The Member of Xandria for Neverworld’s End were: Vocalist Manuela Kraller, Guitarist & Keyboardist & Producer: Marco Heubaum, Guitarist Philip Restemeier, Bassist Nils Middelhauve, Drummer Gerit Lamm and Additional Musicians: Joost van den Broek- keyboards, programming, orchestral arrangements & sound design, Ben Mathot- Violin, McAlbi- Tin Whistle & Low Whistle, Johannes Schiefner- Uillean Pipes, Choir, Production: Corni Bartels- Co-producer & engineer and Jörg Umbreit- Engineer. “Forevermore” is Track #3 on the album, the music and lyrics were written completely by Marco Heubaum on the album too, except tracks 9, 10, 11 & 13. He is awesomely talented! Xandria always Rocks and they have great female vocalists always. After Manuela Kraller left in 2013, Dianne van Giersbergen took over for her until 2017. It looks like they have a session member Aeva Maurelle listed for vocals in 2017. I know it will be beautiful! Xandria is awesome! Enjoy “Forevermore” Like Love & Metal Music, They Are Both Forevermore! 🎸❤️🤘🏻💋-Moderator-💋🤘🏻❤️🎸
