On February 3rd 2023 Xandria released their 8th full length album, more than 6 years after the antecessor and performed three release shows in Essen, Leipzig and München with 7 songs off the new album. This song was already released as 2nd Single from "The Wonders Still Awaiting".

I don't think Floor Jansen growls all that much... or Taylor Swift for that matter. In fact her voice has very little to do with Taylor Swift's. I feel like your just saying that because she has a feminine style that doesn't match the usual style for female singers in metal. I dunno, maybe you do have a deeper analysis that explains how you got to that conclusion.

Damn I was thinking the same thing. Don't get me wrong. I love the song but it is something off with her growls. The way she covers her mouth is a bit strange. Can someone who saw them live proof me wrong please :)

​@@kukol123 I’ll do it. Saw Xandria twice in the Netherlands. For example when they did “you will never be our god” she just held the mic with one hand and made movements with the other so no covering there neither did she cover her mouth with her hands and also why woudl she fake it? She’s literally so talented

@@justme4416 Thank you for clarifying. Since my comment I saw couple of live recordings of Xandria and I'm pretty sure that growls are real. That is a relief because I really like new album :)
