My understanding is that once this unit is installed in my SW2012 there is a function that appears on my control panel that states "Gen Support" which would supplement the generator voltage when a temporary heavy load is experienced. Since I do not have a "built in" generator on my boat (I use 2 Honda EU2000 Generators) can I install this and simply use it in "Gen Support" mode? Do I have to have it connected to a generator for this function to work?

Any generator, or other source of AC (including shore) will be supported with this feature enabled, even if it’s ‘plugged in’. Simply set the feature to enabled and set the support amps to a value that makes sense. If you set the value to 10, it will allow the generator to supply up to 10A of power through the inverter. Any draw above that will come from the inverter. The inverter will stop charging, so it shouldn’t be for long-term loads.

Why when my goes into AGS fault mode (Like emergence shutdown), I cant get my XW 4024 to trigger its onboard 12 VDC AUX output?
