XAOC Devices Zadar *FIRST PATCH* Ambience, Drones & Complex Modulation

Here's my first patch with the Zadar quad complex envelope from XAOC Devices. It's been an incredibly simple to use unit that delivers some unique shapes and functions over it's complex envelopes. Adding some CV modulation over time, warping, shape etc was all done quickly without any manual reading so building up this first patch was quick and fun. I'm using envelopes here for modulation of tonal parameters on FX, oscillators and level control through VCAs. Full video demo coming soon.

i think i just had a moment of revelation, in my search for a sequencer maybe i should consider this or similar because i dont want to play/sequence notes or melodies but shapes, sounds... very interesting, too bad that module has a long waitlist at this moment

Had mine a weak really nice for modulating akemie' s castle, distortion, wavefolders etc would like it to sustain as it ignores gate length but you can set the overall out put voltage which is nice gives great life when used to control volume

yeah a gated/sustain mode would be nice but it hasn't really cross my mind with how much control you get over everything else. Solid unit, very nice with FM stuff like Akemie's too :)

Really nice and easy to use module. I found it also interesting to design kicks (pitch or/and amp modulation) by its unique shapes, mangling them and fine tune precisely the speed and voltage level

Wikipedia says "ZAH-dar" - it's named after a city in Croatia. Generally XAOC modules are named after cities in the Soviet Block countries, using Polish transliteration (that's why it's "Moskwa" and not, say, "Moscow" or "Moskau").

Nice envelopes! Am I right that the Mordax can show CV and other stuff on multiple inputs at the same time, but not show all 4 inputs in the tuner?

the scope can show all four inputs. Spectral processing/rendering just does one input at once.

i am sorry. I have a system with this the rainmaker and the sìfusion vco. Can i avoid to have the vco continously going also i don't have a vca but a ciouple of stackable a multiplier and a mixer? should i control always the from the mixer the volume or somehow in the fx send/aux channel can become a cv of a vca? or i can like put the gate of the Deluge somewhere like the mix out to have a anyway sound that doesn't continue from the vco? sorry i was tryin to figure out but i am bit puzled because some time ao i thought on i i could do it, plus some with infinite repetionts on the zadar used as a vco i did it once but i forgot how ahah... with the study playing become a spare time possibility so, you know, i am not always focused on that and repeating sometime the processes qould help but i can't

i study bassoon and with this system i can do also classical music with also elctro feel but i would like to avoid to buy a vca since i would like to buy a filter i have the hp for and no more that that ahah, the belgrad would be the last module for a while before buying microphones
