Wow.. lol honestly I can completely relate.. ever since my guild fell apart after legion I feel what he said these past few expansions does just feel like forcing it.. once you experience those long nights pushing raids, mythics, etc especially for a long time with people, that really is the absolute top of the wow "high" and once you lose it its hard to either get it back or experience it again. Good video that I think many, many people can relate to

When I first played wow I remember seeing a shaman in the ICC tier set and thinking it was the coolest shit ever, little did I know was I going to turn into a degen wow player for years to come. I'll never forget my noob days

In a lot of ways, DK can help you more as a mage than a rogue. It's similar to how people were hesitant to do dk/disc comps but then realized it's pretty good. It's just a different playstyle

I'd watched Pints videos, this one included, several times in the past but the end of this one hit different today as I had unsubbed from WoW this morning. As he said, all the items, mogs, acheevos... its all unimportant now. The seasonal structure that the game is leaning more and more heavily into has gradually worn me down, and finally killed it for me.

The last segment of his video, with the music and the various WoW environments and locations is such a good section, got me a little misty-eyed. I miss WoW, I played straight from vanilla through Legion, no breaks, and loved every moment of it (even WoD). Took a break at the end of Legion and came back in BfA, quit again at the start of Shadowlands. It was harder to keep my interest. I tried to come back near the end of Shadowlands but I just... couldn't get invested at all. Systems on top of systems on top of systems, no server community, hardly any guild communities, the game felt like a shell of itself. I didn't buy Dragonflight, and though I did love the War Within cinematic, I likely won't get that either. I miss WoW, a lot, but I think it's over for me for good.

Idk why people act like the WoD content was bad. It had objectively the best leveling AND some of it not THE best raids of any xpac. The content it did have was truly amazing. If you deny that you’re just an idiot. Like seriously wtf. Wod sucked simply because . . . That’s ALL it had. The good leveling and the good raids . . . Of which there was only three. It was content starved, but that doesn’t mean the content we got was bad. Like imo if WoD had one raid per warlord it would be the best xpac of all time hands down no contest. It’s only crime was lasting too long with too little, not actually having bad content; quite the contrary. I’d love to see Xaryus reaction to the video “Was Warlords of Draenor really that bad?”.
