Totally agree with this. @Xaryu did one at the start of Classic back in 2019 but would be great to see it again. I know it can be personal and subjective but it would still help guide alot of players.

I use a razer Naga mouse + alt/shift for 36 different keybinds. But I bought into the naga very early on.

@@hyds816 I found a fix to my issue maybe it might work for you I misunderstood where the macro should be on as I had to have it on my arcane blast cast macro which I had it on my missiles I now have it under both and it seems to work

@3:36 In your macro to set marks, have it clear any marks already on targets first before applying your specific marks. That way it will always 'apply' and never 'undo' marks on players. ie: /script SetRaidTarget("party1", 0); /script SetRaidTarget("party1", 1);

What's stopping you from getting a spellsteal on the priest without getting sapped by using the default spellsteal spell? Does targeting while invis break stealth or something? Not sure what the macro actually does differently in that example

Because you can't see people while invis (unless a mage is also invis), so the macro is faster than tab targeting out of invis

Xar thanks for the vid super useful. What key binds do you use for F poly, F deep and F CS? I current have a modifier macro for each one with shift to use it on my focus target. So poly is F and I use shift F to poly my focus target. T for CS and C for deep. Is this an efficient way to do it?

I use this same method your using and I’ve been 3k I think it’s a good way to do it. It’s obviously all preference but it’s a good way imo. I also use my 123 macros in sequence like shift 123 is target 123 shift qwe is poly 123 shift asd is kick 123

hey thank you for the Video. I really need help for a big problem that a lot of people have. The sort grp addon does not work in wotlk classic and i cant freaking play arena without it. I paly with a lot of people so i use dispell arena 1 ,2 3 macros. For some FUCKED UP PATHETIC REASON the game still makes people RANDOMLY grp 1 2 3 so the guy first shown in the grp is not always grp one the second guy is not always grp 2 and so on.... it triggers me so hard that i sometimes wanna throw my pc out of the window when i dispell the wrong target again. I would love to have the option to have myself on top of the group always(not on bottom) and (heres a crazy idea blizzard) the person shown under me really beeing grp two the guys below grp 3 and so on.... HOW IS THIS STILL RANDOM EVEN IN RETAIL and we need ths sort grp addon. Does anyone have a script that sorts the grp and puts myself on top or an addon that does it without fuckign up the whole ui? The addon called "sort grp " everyone uses on retail does not work on classic ;( And to Xaryu and some other streamers, you guys are doing very well helping out thanks for that, maybe since you guys have a lot easier way to talk to blizzard people through your tiwtter range, pls mention the sort grp problem, for healers in arena this is hell to deal with and all the buggy addons give constant lua errors. We need the option to decide if we want to be on top or bottom in the grp and ALSO the player first shown in the grp interface should ACTUALLY be grp 1 the second gp 2 and so on. Sry if i sound so triggerd but this made me really really mad after having to deal with it for so long for absolutly 0 reason. Should take them like 1 hour to create this option.

Instead of having 3 bar slots for CS arena 1,2,3, is it possible to have them all on 1 bind with a modifier macro (e.g. no-modifier, shift and ctrl)?

It should be, but often find these macro's run into issues - mostly when i'm pressing a lot of movement buttons on my keyboard then try and hold modifiers. The "best" way is to have 3 buttons for target arena1/2/3, then press counterspell (1 keybind). I use separate buttons like Xar recommends for poly and CS, but i'm trying to learn this other "better" way. Cdew does this AFAIK. He uses A/S/D for target arena 1/2/3. What Xar is recommending is super effective and very easy to learn IMO. but the issue is that it bloats your bar massively if every CC/interupt/purge you have needs 3 buttons all with different bindings. I'm still doing it his way though.
