Its technically possible to cos with it, just have to learn how to pose while blind, and an assistant to help you The other issue is the lights automatically turn off after 1 minute where you have to press the side buttons to turn it back on again which is kinda annoying, so definitely need someone to guide you when cosing being blind aint gonna stop people from trying to dance with this on hehe

I've memorized most Love Live choreographies, especially all of Muse's for fun, and I've imagined what it be like if Rina danced blind because of the mask, so I tried doing Doki Pipo Emotion with my eyes closed, and surprisingly, it wasn't as hard as I thought, even with a small space. Just need to practice spatial awareness some more, especially since Doki Pipo Emotion has lots of twirling around and walking all over the place, so sometimes, it gets confusing to know if you've gone back to the middle or strayed far away from where you're supposed to be lmao.

@@KurouShiro6000 The problem is it's an LED panel, so the lights themselves are naturally opaque. If it weren't for those you could cut a couple holes in the back and put a material like the one way privacy filter stuff on it the openings, allowing you to see out but not see the eyes from outside the mask. I'm not sure how you'd handle the lights though, it's a difficult problem to solve

The idea is cute. Similar to the moveing cat ears stuff with your brainwaves. Just way way to low effort. No LCD and camera combo, so you can see where ya going. No Soft padding for the headband. Low effort neck band... with sad quality. Price point of a high end figurine ... for scrap xD.

It’s cool but how are you supposed to use this in actual cosplay without it being a major hassle? The buttons for the prompts are in the inside portion so while you could still press it while wearing it depending on the size of your fingers and head shape. I would’ve much preferred if they put all of the buttons on the bottom of the mask or below the headphone cups like how modern bluetooth headphones do it. Next is way the way they decided to go about using the board which you can’t see through, they could gone with a white translucent acrylic front plate with one-way white mesh window tint. Yes, you still can’t see very well but it’s better than seeing nothing at all. This is a toy (yes) but it’s a poorly designed toy without any form of quality of life or thought put behind the engineering of it to make it usable outside of pressing a few buttons and to look at.

Apologies if the video is not clear but there are buttons underneath the headphone cups shown at 14:36 (thats how I controlled it while wearing). The only hassle I can think of is the display turning off after 1 minute and you'll need to press a button to turn it back on. They probably could have done something about visibility but can't argue much if they didn't even make the official one see through. Chiemi (Rina's seiyuu) wore the board on stage once but needed someone to escort her around. But I agree they could have included a remote control so an assistant can help you control the display while you wear it. The other issue is the tape provided to stick the cushions and nose pad behind the board is too weak and easily comes off when you try moving around while wearing, I had to replace it with stronger tape and afterwards its hard to readjust the cushions without leaving stains on the board and making the tape weaker
