I still have my Childhood Cindy Doll from 1978:). She was well loved as a child and Cindy brings back memories of my Grandparents giving Cindy Doll to me when I was sick.

I had Sindy I hated Barbie. I got a pink Sindy house for Christmas and my best friend got a white one. I loved it so much, played for hours. This commercial takes me back.

sindy was made by pedigree dolls and toys in great britain,she was very like tammy infact , sindy has friends paul , patch , mitzi,later friends , june , gayle the only black sindy produced and made by marx toys,this sindy is late eighties , she has the new head mould ,since the early 60s , irwin must have had licence from pedigree,as they also retailed this doll in england,pedigree was the original makers of sindy , up till the early eighties, when the uk factory closed ,

No. There were two black vinyl Sindy dolls. This doll here was made in 1986, not late 80s.
