thanks for the video. was thinking about buying this but prob holding off for now. the camera movement is way too jerky and too often not focusing in the right spot.

I’m posting a more recent video after a firmware upgrade and right on the center line of the field at recommended height. See my lastest post. It is at 720p because that is the highest resolution you can live stream at and simultaneously record.

Also this night video is very zoomed in and it was a practice session with lots of balls on the field, etc. not representative. See most rent post for a real game video after a recent firmware upgrade

Hey mate, great video. Can I check what height is this at? 13 feet?
@Onthebackhalf19 күн бұрын
@@muhammadfaisalsarnap6586 that video was filmed with my tripod position in the bleachers of a small stadium so I was significantly higher up than 13 ft above the field level. I don’t know the exact height maybe 20-25 feet above field level

way too much camera movement. nauseating. like the zoom thou
@OnthebackhalfАй бұрын
yep, you can zoom in too much because the robot pans the camera too fast. If you are less zoomed in the video is easier to watch because the fast panning is more "forgiven". If you are zoomed in and the robot pans fast, it is nauseating to watch the video when there is a lot of panning going on.

I think I am at a 3x zoom on my iphone normally. I stick to 1.3 to 1.5 max. Less zooming and slow/smooth panning usually is best, robot or no robot when filming games on an iphone or camcorder.
