I think this has performed well considering the conditions it's up against. It's relatively far from the pitch, there are multiple games happening, there are also multiple balls around and it's also behind a net. I look forward to seeing your next video. Would it be possible to get closer to the pitch?

Yeah - next video will be next weekend and it will be not behind a net and right next to the field at the half-way line.

Good afternoon, I had some questions about the camera footage. First, what kind of phone were you using? Are there options for zooming more or does the zoom only work with whatever your specific phone can do? Were you using your own tripod or were you using one of the ones that you could purchase from the XBotgo site. About how high was the camera sitting from the ground where you were filming it? Can a secondary phone connect to the device as well with the app so you can do live scoring or see what the camera on the device sees? Last question, do you think if the camera is higher up (13 ft tripod) finding the ball will be easier for the AI? Once again, sorry for all the questions. I'm interested in getting one of those, but it's hard finding people who have actually got Hands-On use with them.

Sadly, the first real game is next weekend. I will post actual game footage of what it did. At practice, there are many white soccer balls flying around, and the camera tends to get lost in that arrangement. I am using iPhone 15 pro. I did not try zooming yet. I was using my own tripod, it was about 7.5 feet in the air You (as far as I know) can not get a second device to see what it is filming. Other reviewers say that they had best results around 7-9 ft, but the company says 13. No idea who is correct right now. It's not perfect, and if you currently move the tripod yourself, this will not be as good as you moving it yourself. However, if it lets you enjoy the game (and cheer and yell like a crazy person - which is what I enjoy doing) and the footage 'might' be on the camera, THAT is what I think this is good for.

@@IanB22 thank you for the quick reply. I look forward to seeing your game footage. For now I'm going to stick to my GoPro on a 10-ft pole that I'm moving. Or the occasional camcorder that I have sitting in the bleachers that I use in our scrimmage fest last week. I am looking for something to get me away from the filming so I can pay attention to the game more and cheer a little bit. I keep trying to tell the parents that we should get a Veo, but no one wants to Shell out $3,000 lol

@@verticalgambit this will LIKELY do the job. My test will be posted probably by next Sunday. Save the 3K :)

A possible solution would be to live stream and just look at what is happening on a second device

@@johnsonoyegoke9261very true - if you had good signal you could see… this footage is recorded, not streamed FYI
